Tired of fuzzy mono sound from the worn-out center dash speaker in your classic ride? When you're working on a center dash opening that takes a 4x10, this RetroSound R-410UK speaker fits where others won't. With a shallow mounting depth (under 2 inches), it's a solid option for a classic car with limited space by the windshield. The R-410UK fits a broad spectrum of makes, including '60s and '70s Ford, Chevy, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Pontiac, and more with no need to cut into the dash opening.

Single speaker plays stereo sound

You can run left and right channels to this dual-voice coil speaker, making it a great option for an older vehicle with a single front speaker location. The Santoprene rubber surround lends better accuracy and long-term durability, and the silk tweeters keep the highs smooth. With a frequency range between 43Hz and 21kHz, you'll enjoy highs and lows much superior to what that worn-out original provides.

Ready to wire

The R-410UK speaker comes with a universal bracket (RS-UB1KT) and an 8-ohm wiring kit for wiring the two 4 ohm voice coils in parallel, so if you have a vintage radio or amp, you won't pull too much current if your restomod isn't wired for lower-impedance loads.

Important Note: This is a single 4"x10" speaker, designed to replace a center dash speaker.

Installation Applications: This RetroSound dual voice coil speaker gives you a stereo mix from your single dash speaker location. It will physically fit in many standard 4x10 applications, but it has stereo inputs and is sold as a single speaker (not a pair), so it isn't a good choice in most modern vehicles that have speakers mounted in pairs. Dual Voice Coils: The woofer has dual voice coils, each wired with one of the tweeters. The stereo input is useful in many older cars with a single speaker location in the dash or rear deck. If used in a standard two speaker 4x10 application the inputs should be wired in parallel (to present a 2Ω load) or series (to present an 8Ω load).
