A Good Decision

Was looking for a good sounding bar to replace an older Yamaha after rehanging a 60in Samsung on a MantelMount system. Very pleased with the ease of setting the JBL up and the sound is just what I was looking for without breaking the bank. Crutchfield reviews and shipping are aces.

Good Sound, nice bass

Was looking for a sound bar that had good sound and wasn't too expensive - this one filled the bill and was extremely easy to set up with the TV as well as bluetooth connectivity for playing music from my phone and such. The profile of the unit is nice and doesn't over power the mantle we place it on, and the sound is very good and although it does not come with a sub-woofer for bass, it still has "nice" bass and good spread of acoustics in the room we have the bar. I found it to be of good quality for the price.

Staff what a pleasure

No problem with the sound bar just didn't meet my expectation/needs, so I have placed a new ordered with Bethany for the JBL Bar 500. Staff (two advisors and one technician) very helpful, courteous and more than willing to help.

Sound volume

Requested a speaker with higher volume (decibel level) than my TV to assist my wife's hearing deficiencies. This unit recommended by your technician actually has slightly lower volume.

Great bang for the buck

No one will ever confuse the Bar 300 with a $5,000 Surround Sound Speaker System, but it cost no where near that much. This is a very good speaker for the price point and allows me to turn the volume up enough to hear the TV from another room and not destroy the speakers in the process.

I'm not thrilled

Middle of the road. Not great but not terrible either. Music streaming seems to fluctuate loud then soft. I might be sending it back.

Great sound

I set up the sound bar on the kitchen table - meaning I plugged it in and connected my iphone via blue tooth to get an idea of the sound. I was very impressed regarding the sound quantity and bass especially since it wasn't placed so the bass ports were against a wall. I bought it to use with an Epson 2350 projector for outdoor movies the sbar will be placed under the eaves of a gazebo. I will update once all hooked up.

Fixed our sound quality

Working as we hoped in our application. Living room has 10' ceiling, lvp floor and lots of windows. Tv was hard to hear well at lower volumes. Wanted a unit that would auto turn on with the tv and stream Spotify too as a home sound system. sound clarity is up with more bass then what we had. think of it as a really good blue tooth box. If you want bass that rumbles this not your choice.

this is my 2nd JBL soundbar product and the sound quality is top notch. Easy, simple set up. Sound is very spacious and decent bass response without having a separate subwoofer. Dialog is greatly improved compared to the television speakers also.

This is a very nice sound bar. I have vaulted ceilings where my TV is located and the TV speakers were getting lost. The sound bar directs the TV sound, including the voice, directly to the living space. The surround sound is a bonus.

The JBL Bar 300 has a big sound for such a small bar. The bass is surprisingly strong and robust for such a small package. It has great volume, clarity and no hiss. Excellent value.

Versatile w/ other WiFi speakers

Very pleased with the bar 300. The set up was remarkably easy and the sound is impressive. The WiFi and airplay capabilities make this a great complement to my other WiFi/airplay speakers (Bose).

Sound is great for what it is. Certainly well worth the piece paid. 100 times better than the Bose unit I replaced. My only disappointment is that there is very little documentation on set up. And by very little, I mean none.

Great Condo Soundbar

Great sound!

Oh boy, I am the first one to leave a review, talk about pressure! :). Anyway,I am really impressed with the sound! I was apprehensive about purchasing this sound bar but glad I listened to Jenny at Crutchfield. A little background, I am in a condo and the neighbor had issues with a subwoofer I had set up with a sound bar. Therefore, I needed to find a sound bar that would not only provide crisp sound when watching tv, but had some base since I had to stop using a subwoofer. This sound bar has some really good base and is very clear. Now, is it as powerful as having a subwoofer? Of course not, but if you are in a condo or apartment, definitely check this sound bar out! This is my 3rd sound bar purchase, I have an older Bose sound bar and sub, and a Polk sound bar/sub, and I have to say the JBL is easier to use and has zero connection issues. Some other pros: 1) Super easy to set up. I am using HDMI arc and set up was a breeze and went quickly. 2) The JBL one app makes the initial set up easy and updating the firmware was very easy in the app. 3) sound 4) connects without issue
