Features
Power Output: The JBL Stage A6004 4-channel amplifier delivers 60 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms, and 70 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms. The power output at 4 ohms bridged is 140 watts RMS x 2. The amp's total peak power is 560 watts.
Protection Circuitry: The amplifier features protection circuitry for thermal overload, over- or under-voltage (<9V or >16V), and short circuits. The LED on the end of the amp glows red if the amp goes into protection mode.
Controls
Gain: The Stage A6004's rotary gain control let you match the amp's input sensitivity to the output of the source unit. The input sensitivity range of the amplifier 0.2V - 5V for a line-level input, and 0.5V - 12V for speaker-level input. Separate gain controls are provided for the front (Ch1 + Ch2) and rear (Ch3 + Ch4) channels. A small screwdriver (not included) is required to set the gain.
Crossover: The amp features a switchable crossover that can be set to Low Pass, High Pass, or Full Range. If set to Low Pass or High Pass, the cutoff frequency can be set between 32Hz and 320Hz. The crossover has a 12dB per octave slope. Separate crossover controls are provided for the front (Ch1 + Ch2) and rear (Ch3 + Ch4) channels. A small screwdriver is required to adjust the frequency.
Bass EQ: The amplifier's Bass EQ circuit lets you increase the bass output from 0dB to 12dB at 45Hz. Separate Bass EQ controls are provided for the front (Ch1 + Ch2) and rear (Ch3 + Ch4) channels.

Power/Ground: The +12V Power and Ground terminals will accept up to 4-gauge wire. It is recommended that you use a minimum of 8 AWG power wire to the battery, with an in-line 30A fuse installed no more than 18" from the battery terminal. An 8 AWG ground wire (minimum) is also recommended, and attached to a metal area close to the amplifier.
Remote Turn-On: The Remote screw terminal will accept up to 8 AWG wire. Typically, an 18 AWG turn-on lead is included in an amplifier wiring kit.
Speaker Outputs: The amp features screw terminals for connecting four speakers. The amplifier's minimum speaker impedance is 2 ohms in stereo or 4 ohms bridged.
Speaker-Level Input: The amp includes two speaker-level input harness for connecting the amp to a factory radio or aftermarket head unit. You should splice left and right speaker wires from the head unit to the harness and plug the harness into the amp. Separate speaker input harnesses are provided for the front (Ch1 + Ch2) and rear (Ch3 + Ch4) channels.
