I was having issues with the power antenna on my car, I just didn't want to spend the money on a replacement so I opted for a manual antenna. Unfortunately both ends of the factory antenna cables are male. This coupler solves this problem.

Pros: an optional inexpensive problem solving item.

Cons: Shipping is rather expensive for such a small item.

This is a hard to find item. Everywhere I looked, the couplers were always a male to female and wouldn't work for my needs. Crutchfield has everything you need to complete most any electronic project. I will be making more purchases from them for sure !!

Pros: Easy ordering, fast shipping, and great customer service at anytime !!

Essential connector for some vehicles

This is exactly what is needed when replacing the rear antenna on vehicles like the 2000 Sebring Converible. The original cable ends in a male plug, and universal antennas all seem to have male ends themselves.

As insignificant is this antenna cable, without it you wouldn't be able to connect a universal antenna to your car. Thank you for carrying this product.

Cons: Could be 4 inches longer for better installations on universal products.
