Overview: The Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.) is a small and versatile smart security solution. The camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, or placed on a table top. The Indoor Cam has an integrated adjustable base that converts to a versatile wall mount. Like other Ring cameras, the Indoor Cam works through the Ring - Always Home app, which provides mobile notifications, two-way communication, and allows you to view live streaming video on your smartphone. The plug-in camera is powered by a USB power adapter and 6.5' (2-meter) USB cable (included).

Camera: The camera has a wide-angle lens with a wide 143° diagonal (115° horizontal / 59° vertical) field of view. The camera produces bright 1080p HD video in a Live View that you can watch on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Motion Alerts: Adjustable motion sensors can detect movement up to 30 feet away. Customizable motion zones can be created to cover specific areas of your home, such as doorways, windows, and gates, and reduces unnecessary alerts caused by ceiling fans or TVs. When motion is detected, a notification will be sent to your smart device through the Ring app. With Advanced Pre-Roll, your recording will include the event that triggered the event, not just what happened afterward.

Privacy Cover: When you don't want the camera watching your home, you can cover the lens with the integrated privacy cover. The manual cover swivels over the lens to block the view of the camera and turn off the microphone, deactivating the camera. To turn the camera back on, simply rotate the privacy cover out of the way. The privacy cover is removable for round-the-clock protection.

Privacy Zones: In the Ring app, you can set up custom privacy zones in areas you don't want the camera to cover, such as bathroom or bedroom doors, or your neighbor's property.

Night Vision: Built-in infrared LEDs enable the Indoor Cam's color night vision. This allows your camera to monitor unlit alleyways or other areas in total darkness.

Indoor Only Use: The Ring Indoor Cam, 2nd Gen. is designed for indoor use only. The camera has an operating temperature rating of -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C).

110dB Siren: The camera features a 110-decibel siren alarm that will help scare off any intruders. The siren is remote activated from the Ring App on your smart device or computer.

Connectivity: The camera requires a wireless (802.11 b/g/n @ 2.4GHz) internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps for optimum performance.

Alexa Compatible: The Ring Indoor Cam, 2nd Gen. is fully compatible with Amazon Alexa voice-controlled "assistant." You can control the Ring security system by telling Alexa to perform a specific action, such as turn on motion alerts, show the view from specific cameras, or play back videos. When you receive an alert, you can hear the announcements on your device. If you have an Echo Show or Spot, you'll be able to see live and recorded video on the screen, and conduct 2-way conversations with anyone captured on the live camera.

Ring App: The free Ring - Always Home app pulls together all of your Ring devices, including Video Doorbells and Security Cameras. With the Ring app, you can view live video from any of your devices at any time. The app sends you an instant alert when someone triggers the camera's motion sensor, or rings your Ring Video Doorbell. You'll be able to see, hear, and speak to anyone on your property using your smart device. In addition, the app lets you create a virtual Neighborhood Watch and receive alerts from your neighbors. In the app, you can customize the Motion Zones, times for receiving (or not receiving) alerts, and how often to be notified for motion events. The Ring - Always Home App is available for Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 15.0 or later, and for Android devices running version 9.0 and up.
