Overview: The Shure MV-R-Z7 MoveMic Receiver is a standalone receiver for use with MV-One and MV-Two wireless microphones. The receiver has a cold shoe mount with a 1/4" tripod thread for attaching it to a camera or tripod. It is designed to connect to the camera or a computer via the included USB-C or audio cable (3.5mm). The receiver is also compatible with iOS and Android mobile devices and many third-party apps. No microphones are included.

Bluetooth: The MoveMic Receiver easily pairs with one or two MoveMic wireless mics via Bluetooth Low Energy. Using the MOTIV Audio or Video apps, you can connect the microphones, adjust the gain levels, and to record, edit, and share audio. The mics have a 100-foot range line-of-sight.

Outputs: The receiver is equipped with three outputs: a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 3.5mm camera output, and a USB-C output. The headphone jack lets you monitor the audio being received from the connected mics. The camera output jack sends the analog audio signal into the camera or other recording device. A 10" coiled audio cable is included for this connection. The USB-C port outputs a digital audio signal to a mobile device or computer. The receiver is compatible with Android and iOS devices. An optional USB-C to Lightning cable will be needed to connect some Apple iPhones and iPads.

Display: The MV-R-Z7 has a 1-1/4" (diagonal) LED display that indicates the names and statuses of one or two connected microphones. The microphone names can be edited for easy identification. In addition to mic names, the display shows the wireless signal strength, battery level, audio level, and gain information. It also shows the battery status of the receiver. The MoveMic Receiver menu lets you choose the output (camera, headphone, USB), as well as mixing, level, and attenuation levels for each connected microphone.

Mounting: The MoveMic Receiver can be attached to a camera via its cold shoe mount, or to a tripod through its 1/4" tripod thread. It has a hinge that lets you tilt the receiver 90° to keep it securely out of the way when recording. The shoe mount also allows you to rotate the receiver 90° in either direction.

Power: The MV-R-Z7 MoveMic Receiver is powered by a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery pack. The battery is charged via its USB-C port. A fully charged battery provides about 8 hours at normal power, and 7 hours at high power.
