Want to amplify a factory system? Kicker's KISLOC2 line output converter lets you get your amplifier's input signals from the factory speaker wiring, lowering the amplified speaker-level signals down to the line level the amp needs for its inputs. In addition, this little device provides the 12 volts your amp will need for its remote turn-on connection. It generates this voltage using the input signals alone, with no external power source necessary. This converter also has built-in load resistors, so it will work with factory radios with open-circuit protection.

Features
Overview: The Kicker KISLOC2 is a 2-channel, passive converter that allows any car stereo to be connected to an amplifier or processor (sold separately). This is accomplished by "de-amplifying" the radio's high-level speaker outputs into low-level signals that can be passed out of the built-in RCA jacks. The KISLOC2 is designed without inductors, allowing it to deliver a flat frequency response of 20Hz - 20kHz at all volume levels.
Conversion: The KISLOC2 can accept speaker-level signals up to 55 watts and has a pair of female RCA jacks that can output an audio signal up to 8V.
OEM Compatible: The Kicker KISLOC2 is compatible with most modern OEM "smart" radios that have open-circuit protection. The KISLOC2 applies a 60Ω load to the speaker input lines, allowing the factory radio to output audio uninterrupted.
Remote Output: The KISLOC2 can provide a 12VDC/100mA remote output signal, for activating outboard amps or processors, from the converted input signal using DC offset. A red LED indicator on the input side of the converter lights when DC offset is active.
Input Wiring: The attached 4" speaker-level input wires connect to the left and right speaker output wires of your car stereo. The Kicker input wires are as follows:
- White: L+
- White/Black: L-
- Grey: R+
- Grey/Black: R-
- Black: Input ground
- Blue: Remote turn-on output
Audio Outputs:
- Red RCA: Right audio output
- White RCA: Left audio output
Note: A wire legend is provided on the back of the converter. The KISLOC2 wire colors may be different from the wire colors found on your car stereo.

Kicker has made a solid product here, this unit does not need a power wire, it picks up the voltage it needs from the speaker wire outputs with absolutely no distortion at all! If you adding a amplifier and subs to a factory stereo setup than this is a must have!
