Morel Rules!
TS from Murrieta, CA on 6/26/2025
Small but Powerful, Clean flawless easy to install. I put it in my 2024 Ineos Grenadier under that back seat. Pair it with the Morel 6.5" Tempo Ultra front & 4"Tempo Ultra in the Back doors with a 10" Kicker Hide Away! It sounds great! It sounds like there is much bigger system at work...
Pros: Size, Price & Highend Quality Sound ETC...
Cons: Need to build a plug & play harness for Ineos Grenadier...

Tiny Mighty Morel
Matthew from Katy, TX on 12/31/2024

This Morel MPD 4.100 was purchased to power two sets of Morel Maximo 602 component speakers in my wife's 2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU. The install uses pre-amp outputs from a Pioneer head unit so the high level input options are not utilized. Compared to other amps I've owned, this amp is TINY! At first I wondered if it could really output 125 watts without overheating. So far my longest test has been 45 minutes while I tunned it, but it was still cool to the touch with no heat buildup at all. When I first powered it up, the status light flashed two red pulses. I was mildly annoyed to learn the flashes do not provide any indication of the type of issue. A little trouble shooting with Crutchfield techs on the phone helped me figure out the issue with my power source within minutes. So far, I am impressed. It has all the basic features I want without unnecessary complexity. I haven't finished tuning it, but its already clear the amp puts out the power needed to really drive the Maximo speakers well. The small size means speaker connections are tight and must be completed in order. Using crimped spade connectors ensures loose wire strands don't become an issue. Unfortunately this amp, like most, does not come with any connectors. Note: The best size connector is slightly smaller than the most common. I will look for ways to utilize this amp in future installs.
Pros: Small size Clean output Powerful
Cons: Tight connections Fault light does not indicate issue

Best Amp in class/price range
Some dude from TX on 12/23/2024

Small amp, works great. I don't know why you wouldn't pick this one compared to the others listed on crutchfield. this is easily the best 4 channel amp under $300. It is driving 2 coax at 100 watts rms and 2 midrange at 50 watts rms. I was running off stock wiring from car and head unit so there was a very noticeable improvement in sound quality and noise. I get way more mid bass (which was practically non existent) and the mid range has more detail. If you are on head unit power and wondering if an amp is worth it, it definitely is. Overall would recommend and buy again.
Pros: small, efficient, cheap, easy to install, good power, clean and clear sound
Cons: I haven't noticed anything wrong

I have not hooked it up yet, however I am impressed with the size and weight. It definitely feels and looks to be high quality and am excited to finally see how it performs. Until then, if you're looking for an amp to run door speakers, you can't go wrong with this.
