Product Research

Features

Overview: The linkLD lowers the input impedance the factory radio sees when connected to the speaker level inputs on one of the Wāvtech line output converters. Some modern factory radios feature protection circuits that mute the audio output when the factory speakers are removed. The linkLD is designed to simulate the factory speakers still connected. The linkLD adds a 45Ω impedance in parallel to the LOC's speaker level input (typically 180Ω), presenting a 36Ω load.

Connection: The Phoenix terminal attached to the output side of the linkLD plugs directly into the speaker level input of any of the compatible Wāvtech line output converters (LOC). The Phoenix terminal removed from the LOC is then plugged into the input side of the linkLD.
