Add an aux input adapter to your factory touchscreen radio

Crux's CS-USB3.5 adapter lets you add an auxiliary audio input to the factory radio of select BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan, Porsche, and VW models featuring a factory USB port but no aux input. If you're looking for more flexibility in accommodating your audio devices, this is a great way to hear your favorite music without changing out the radio entirely. You'll retain your car's USB port for charging or playing music from your phone when you're not using the aux input, and you won't lose any radio functionality.

Wire up your device

Crux's kit includes an adapter with auxiliary input on a 9" USB cable, a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm aux input cable, and an RCA-to-3.5mm aux input cable. To convert your factory USB port to an auxiliary input, simply plug in the adapter cable to the USB port. The adapter features a 3.5mm input to which you can plug in your device with one of the included cables. To hear music via the adapter, simply select the USB input as a source on your touchscreen stereo. You will not have any control of your devices through the factory radio, however.

When you want to free up the factory USB port for charging or to connect another device, simply unplug the CS-USB3.5 adapter cable.
