Think twice about purchasing this one!
Tom from Rosebud, TX on 5/13/2025
Purchased the Samsung HW-Q800D along with a new Sony 65" OLED TV. While the Sony is absolutely fantastic, this sound bar is anything but. I've tried every setting over and over, tried different positions but it just sounds shallow and almost 'tinny'. In fact, the speakers built into the TV sound better. I had a ten-year-old much cheaper Samsung that actually sounded much better! Wife said I wasted my money, and I have to agree. Thought seriously about returning it within the allotted time allowed for returns but boxing this thing back up was more of a challenge than I was up to. Can't knock Crutchfield, they always are outstanding, but I would highly discourage purchasing this sound bar!
Pros: Subwoofer is good.
Cons: Most everything.

Disappointed
Robert from Murrells Inlet, SC on 3/10/2025
This is replacing a Bose 321 sound system purchased in 2010 that was dying a slow death. No comparison. This unit doesn't compare favorably with the old Bose system and I've tried every adjustment without success. Are the higher priced soundbars noticeably better?
Pros:
Cons: Muddled sound.

Great replacement
Arnold from Lowell, MA on 9/15/2024
It was very easy to hook up. I was replacing the Q800A which was giving me problems. Sounds better. No problem transferring the rear speakers to the new one. My tv doesn't support Atmos so I go through my PlayStation to get it and it sounds great.
Pros: Easy Setup
Cons:
