Overview: The Samsung Portable SSD T9 USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (MU-PG1T0B) is a small, compact solid state drive (SSD) with blazing fast speeds for transferring files. It features Dynamic Thermal Guard to protect it from overheating. Its USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (Type C) interface is lightning fast, so you can transfer massive files in seconds. The T9 measures approximately 3-7/16" x 2-3/8" x 9/16" and weighs just over 4 ounces. This Portable SSD has a capacity of 1 TB, and comes with a USB-C to A cable and a USB-C to C cable. It is covered by a 5-year warranty.

Performance: The T9 SSD has a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 interface, with two 10 Gbps data transfer lanes, for a maximum bandwidth of up to 20 Gbps. That's twice the speed of the USB 3.2 Gen2 found in Samsung's T7 SSD. The T9 has a sequential read speed of up to 2000 MB/s and sequential write speed of up to 1950 MB/s.

Compatibility: The Samsung Portable SSD is designed to be connected via USB 3.2 port (5V 1.5A), including Windows PCs and Macs, Android smartphones and tablets, gaming consoles, smart TVs, cameras, and more. For convenience, the device comes with two 18" USB cables -- USB Type C-to-A and USB Type C-to-C. It is backwards compatible with USB 3.1 devices, and features AES 256-bit hardware encryption.

Dynamic Thermal Guard: The T9 features Samsung's Dynamic Thermal Guard to keep the SSD running cool, even during heavy use. It uses superior heat dissipation and an advanced nickel-coated controller that automatically monitors the SSD to prevent overheating and damaging delicate internal circuitry. During internal quality tests, the T9's outer skin maintained temperatures of below 140°F at all times.

Rugged Build: The Portable SSD T9 has a strong aluminum body with an advanced outer elastomer cover that protects the internal circuits from damage due to external shocks. The aluminum body adds excellent heat dissipation, while the rubber exterior coating makes the device easy to grip, and protects the body from scratches and dings. It is also tested to withstand a 9.8-foot (3 meter) drop.

Management Software: The T9 is equipped with upgraded management software for PCs and Macs. Samsung Magician 8.0 software is designed to help you manage your SSD, setup a password, monitor the drive health, and obtain firmware updates to optimize the device for best performance and reliability.
