About the Andover Audio SpinDeck MAX

A convenient, fully automatic turntable

The Andover Audio SpinDeck MAX is designed to work well with the Andover Audio SpinBase (sold separately).
A convenient, fully automatic turntable
The Andover Audio SpinDeck MAX is a fully automatic belt-drive turntable — the tonearm automatically lifts from the rest position, starts playing your record from the beginning, and returns to rest at the end. This turntable also features a factory-mounted Ortofon OM 10 cartridge on an 8.3" low-mass tonearm with preset counterweight for simplified setup.
RCA cables with gold-plated terminals are pre-attached, so you can connect easily to a phono preamp, receiver or amplifier with phono input, powered stereo speakers, or the Andover Audio SpinBase.
Build a space-saving, great-sounding Andover Audio system
Andover Audio's modular system allows you to construct a complete sound system vertically — with components stacked on top of one another. For example you could build a system with a SpinSub powered subwoofer neatly tucked in the lower shelf of the SpinStand record stand (sold separately). There's also a shelf to hold the SpinBase speaker system (sold separately), with the SpinDeck resting on the very top. This configuration neatly and cleanly keeps all of your records and "Spin System" equipment in one place.
About Andover Audio
Andover Audio is the electronics equivalent of a musical supergroup. Audio experts hailing from Cambridge, Bose, Harman, and other legendary companies brought their talents together at Andover in 2012 — originally to provide complementary services to other companies. Since then, the company has gradually turned their unique mixture of design, engineering, and manufacturing knowhow toward the creation of their own product line — one that artfully blends exceptional sound with distinctive design.

Features
SpinDeck Max Turntable: The Andover SpinDeck Max is a fully-automatic turntable that strikes an ideal balance between performance and convenience. The SpinDeck Max was made for Andover in Germany by Alfred Fehrenbacher GMBH, a factory with 60+ years experience building high-grade turntables. The SpinDeck Max is constructed with high-quality materials and features precision-engineered parts for excellent sound reproduction of your vinyl music collection.
Fully Automatic Operation: With its fully automatic operation, you can simply flick the "Start/Stop" switch and let the SpinDeck Max turntable do the rest. The tonearm will automatically lift from its rest position and start playing at the beginning of the record. At the end, it will lift up automatically and return to rest again. The design also allows you to change turntable speeds (33/45 RPM) easily.
Belt Drive System: The SpinDex Max turntable's belt drive system is based around a rubber-isolated, low-vibration DC motor with internal electronic servo regulation for accurate speed and inaudibly low Wow-&-Flutter. The belt comes preinstalled.
Low-Resonance Design: The machined aluminum platter and tonearm are isolated from its dense MDF plinth by elastomeric cones to absorb vibration, and to assure stable playback, even on unstable surfaces.
Ortofon OM10 MM Cartridge: The SpinDeck Max comes with a pre-installed OM10 MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge which delivers well balanced and detailed sound. It comes pre-mounted with all tonearm settings pre-adjusted for optimum performance with quick and easy setup.
Attached Stereo RCA Cable: The SpinDeck Max features an attached 43" stereo RCA cable and ground wire. Pair the SpinDeck Max with Andover's SpinBase speaker system (sold separately) or other brand and model of audio system. The SpinDeck Max will need to be plugged in a MM Phono input or external phono preamp (sold separately).
Dust Cover: The Andover SpinDeck Max comes supplied with a dust cover to prevent dust build-up on the turntable.
AC Power Adapter: The Andover SpinDeck Max comes with an external AC power adapter that plugs into the back of the turn and into and AC power outlet or surge protector (sold separately - see Accessories Tab).

The product is a wonderful compact unit with great sound, but the beauty of Crutchfield is the people. I called several times for help and was always treated with respect and understanding and not made to feel like an idiot.
