Features

Low Voltage Trigger Module: The PAC TR4 module is designed to monitor low-voltage signal and turn on once the signal rises to above 0.8V DC. This makes the TR4 ideal for turning on an aftermarket amplifier and/or other 12-volt accessory when only a lower voltage signal or speaker wire is available. The module supplies a +12V/2A output which can easily drive multiple amplifiers and/or a power antenna. The TR4 is equipped with a 1-second delay to prevent turn-on noise/pop.

Q
Can I use this lik a relay with trigger, so when a signal is sent( say GPS) it can turn on or off the device its wired to? Is there polarity protection and circuit diode for safety of the circuit?

Greetings Mike. Thank you for your question. Im not exactly sure what you would want to use this for, but its a 12 volt trigger/relay. It monitors a low voltage signal and closes the circuit when the voltage in raises to 0.8v. I did not see mention of any protection diode, however if you have any questions, you can also call PAC Audio at 727-592-5991.

is this a NC or NO relay?

Greetings Colin. Thank you for your question. The support group at PAC said it depends on if its used on a positive side, or a negative side. On a positive side it will be normally open.
