Features

Punch Woofer: The enclosure houses two front-firing Rockford Fosgate Punch P1S4-10 10" subwoofers. The 4-ohm, single voice coil subs are internally wired in parallel to present a 2-ohm load. Each subwoofer features a StampCast steel frame, a Kevlar fiber reinforced paper cone, and NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) surround. Anodized aluminum voice coil formers and spider venting help keep the subwoofers cool.

Spider: A compliant linear spider made from tear and fatigue resistant poly-cotton improves mechanical stability under high excursion, maintaining consistent excursion characteristics.

Solid MDF Construction: The enclosure is constructed of high quality 5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard), which resists flexing and has anti-resonant qualities.

Vented Enclosure: The vented enclosure is aided by precision construction through computer design. The enclosure consists of two front firing 10" Punch P1 series subwoofers with a proprietary high-flow, low-noise port. The speaker terminals are located on the left side of the box (when facing the box). The box is covered in black carpet.

Tuned Port: The enclosure uses a front-firing proprietary high-flow, low-noise port to help produce deep and loud bass efficiently.

Box Carpeting: The enclosure is finished with high-density carpeting for superior durability. The carpet is black.

Speaker Terminal: The subwoofer enclosure uses one pair of high current, spring loaded binding posts. The binding posts are located on the left side of the box and will accept pin connectors, single or dual banana plugs, or bare wire up to 10 gauge.

Power Handling: The subwoofers can handle up to 500 watts RMS; 1000 watts peak power (total).

CEA-2031 Compliant: Power handling on the P1S4-10 subwoofers conforms to CEA-2031 industry standards. This means the subwoofer has the capacity to handle its rated power under continuous demand, not just for an instant.

Dimensions: The depth dimensions listed in Features & Specs do not include the subwoofer's trim ring, which adds approximately 7/8 of an inch.

Greetings, I was wondering if there was a way I could purchase this enclosure and substitute the P1's for P3's? Also my amp is a monoblock class D amp that is exactly 1,000 watts RMS at 1ohm. Should I get the D4 or D2? Thank You.

This enclosure comes with the P1's installed and has no other "custom" combinations. We do not recommend swapping the speakers as this enclosure was designed for peak performance paired together. If your amp delivers 1,000 watts at 1-ohm I would use the P3D4-10 dual 4-ohm coil subwoofer in the link below. Two of these hits that 1,000-watt RMS number perfectly. Going with a ported box I would recommend using a box with internal space of 1.4 cubic feet per speaker, our premade box options do not have enough internal airspace so making your own custom box might be a good idea here. I'm not really sure what you're exactly asking so I'll answer your question like this. The Rockford Fosgate Punch P1-2x10 are powered by whatever amplifier you chose to power them with. I have multiple speakers running off 1 5 channel amplifier in my 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra and my punch speakers sound amazing, and the crisp, powerful bass that is coming out of them should impress you if you chose to purchase them. I do believe that you'll be completely satisfied with your purchase. And Crutchfield is the place to purchase all your car audio products. The customer service that they provide you with, as far as calling them on the phone, or ordering your products on the Crutchfield website, they will help you answer all your car audio questions that you have. I recommend the purchase of the punch speakers cause I know for a fact that you'll be completely satisfied with your decision. I have purchased every car audio product from Crutchfield and will continue to do so into the future. No matter what you purchase sir, I hope you're satisfied with your purchase, or multiple purchases.
