Bought this for having music on the patio. Already have the Arc and Five's inside, which sound great. Surprisingly good sound from a small speaker, hindsight...should have bought two.

Excellent sound; easy integration with AirPlay

This speaker is great! I was looking for something reasonably portable for use on a porch and that would fit into my AirPlay ecosystem. Have just used the Sonos app for setup, but that was very straightforward. Since then, have used AirPlay without problems except that if it's not being used for a while, then I have to press the power button to get it to reconnect to the network. Sound is excellent, both indoors and outdoors. Battery life estimates seem accurate; I haven't had to charge it since the first full charge almost a week ago. Getting it on sale was a bonus

Glad I Decided To Upgrade

Had a set of Roam2s and decided to upgrade to Move2s, Crutchfield did the exchange with no problem and I had the new speakers with in 2 days, set up was very easy and when I played my first album you could really hear the difference, one thing I noticed was the fuller sound and in a stereo pair they sound amazing, really glad I decided to upgrade to the Move2s,

Sonos Move 2

Checks all my boxes. For the size, very god audio. Excellent battery life and Airplay 2 support. Airplay 2 is so much better than bluetooth as the sound is exactly synced with the other sound sources.

Easy setup/connection with superior sound quality. Sonos App is so-so at best. Hoping for improvement. Airdrop connects easily. Crutchfield website and customer service are top-notch.

Sonos Move 2

Bought a couple of the Move 2" to be able to play the same music simultaneously in two rooms via wifi, with the portability to move from room to room out to take outside. Set up was a breeze in the app and sound quality is quite good for a speaker this size.

Realistic stereo imaging. Great room acoustic adjustment. Super simple to get set up and use. We purchase it for our newly remodeled primary bathroom. It brought the last piece of the spa experience w/o any need for wires or cables. As an added bonus, we now have a whole house music system by adding it into the Sonos app with our Arc in the Family room. Now we can just grab the handle and take the Move 2 to any other room in the house

Portable with good sound.

The Move 2 sounds great, and I love the fact I can take it from room to room. I had to decide on the first component of a home system, and felt I'd get the most bang for the buck with the Move 2. Setting it up with the app had a hiccup, but resolved it by restarting. I e only had it for a couple days, and so far very happy with it.

Sound investment

Motivation for this was we inherited a huge record collection. This is the easiest great sounding system to set up. I am in love with putting a record on and hearing music all over our small house with out the need of speaker wire. The sonos app works great as well for streaming. So far it is exactly as advertised and the speakers sound great to me! I am not an audiophile so can't really say if those type of people would be satisfied but for me it is an incredible luxury

Two speakers is MORE than twice as good as one!

I believe these to be the finest speakers Sonos has ever created. The Five may sound better and you can certainly find less expensive options from Sonos - but nothing combines sound quality, versatility and convenience the way the Move2 does. I put two of them in stereo mode - setting them up next to my Audioengine HD6 bookshelf speakers to compare sound. The Move2s provided more volume and offered a richness of sound that surpassed the HD6. The auto Tru Play technology allowed them to get to know my office - compensating for the weird dimensions, hard floors and vaulted ceilings that become formidable hurdles for other speakers. Just when it seems like they can't get better, you remember that these are portable - you can take this level of sonic excellence with you. Take them to the porch, the garage, the patio, kitchen, reading room, literally wherever you want. Brilliant speakers, incredible sound, easy five stars.

portabilty

I purchased the move 2 to add to my Arc and subwoofer and have portability. So far it's working great. Sound quality is awesome. My only complaint is the initial connection can be difficult. Sonos needs to have better directions and diagrams.

Good portable outdoor speaker

Great speaker for guest room and easily carrying outside on deck. Fidelity is so so but for whole house play its sufficient, ie: Laundry Day/house cleaning day; cooking; working from home; etc etc. Won't replace your listening room or anyplace you want really good audio.

Solid sound

Solid mid-range sound. Depending on the size of the room. The App has an Equalizer. Bass notes are good at medium-volume ranges. Recommend a sub to get more low-range accuracy. To the average listener, it is a solid all-in-one approach. Great for on-the-go enriched sound.

Satisfactory speaker from Sonos

The SONOS MOVE 2 is a satisfactory speaker. It is great for small to medium sized rooms. Perfect for a kitchen. I'd say if you have the budget and enjoy Sonos, buy the Sonos 5 for better sound. (Not portable though) or the ERA 300 (Bluetooth and WiFi capability) - which is good for small to medium rooms as well.

Deep immersive sound.

This speaker is very good. I have many Bluetooth type speakers, this one goes to a different level. It also pairs with my existing Sonos Ray. Good enough, that I purchased two of these.

Insane beach speaker!

Already a huge Sonos fan I had installed one of these for a client, I ended up grabbing one for myself. Living in Florida we are often at the beach. I thought this thing having Bluetooth would be awesome at the beach. Technically someone could take it but it's so loud if they did I'd know lol

Great Speaker

This is a powerful little wireless speaker. we use it in outdoor pool area and it fills the space nicely. We have it grouped with a Sonos Beam TV sound bar and creates a great sound and was easlily grouped together.

Sonos Move 2

Amazing speaker. Was a bit finicky to set up but I think this was more related to the newest Sonos App update than the speaker itself. I would say the speaker in terms of sound quality is in between a Sonos One and a Sonos Five. Portability is awesome. Charging base is really nice too. Overall, I was happy to get this on sale as we will use it on the back patio a lot this summer

Super pragmatic "take anywhere" speaker. Sounds good-enough for the purpose (bass can be a bit boomy) and get's pretty loud. Using it as background speaker in/out of the house it moves easily, feels sturdy, and battery lasts forever. Love wifi connection so it doesn't stop playing music when I walk away with my phone. Grabbed this 25% off. Given the boominess, I'd probably have given it 4-stars if I paid full price.

Nice for what it's intended use case.

Nice for what it's intended use case. Easy way to get sound to the backyard and can be moved around the house. Big sound. Better sound quality than the Beam, not quite as good as the sonos 300. Voice control is a bit of a mess with more than 1 voice controlled Sonos device. Lots of conflicts and glitches with Alexa between my Echo Dot, Beam, and this Move 2. Really need two devices to fill up the outdoor space we have.

My Friend has one of these and it has Fantastic sound so I bought one. I would suggest that the set up was a bit more difficult to understand and I set up a lot of systems. That was the only issue.

I have a pair of the Sonos Move 2 that I use mainly on my deck. They are powerful with great sound. Love to use these while I am grilling. WiFi 6E mesh system means steady sound. lf you are looking for excellent sounding wireless speakers give them a try.

Worth the money

This speaker is amazing! From the weight you can feel the build quality. The set up is easy and the connection to WiFi is instantaneous. The sound is excellent especially with Auto Truplay. Doesn't matter where you place the Move 2, it adjusts for the room acoustics perfectly. We brought it out to our pool patio this past weekend and really let the music fly. From bass to mids to highs, every note clear as a bell, even at higher volume. We got rave reviews from family and friends. Connecting to SiriusXM was effortless and with all those channels available, we tested the Move 2 in many different genres of music . It passed with flying colors. I even tried the Bluetooth connection and the speaker had no problems whatsoever. The Move 2 is a bit more expensive, but well worth the money in my case. Thanks to Crutchfield for getting the product to me as promised. Their service is first class.

Another great addition to my Donos dystem.

Another add to my Sonos house system. Looking forward to spending more time with the Move 2 in the outdoors. Right now it sits atop my bedroom dresser and add full rich sound to that area of the house. Great tonal range it ads perfectly to the rest of the house too. So happy with all my Sonos to this point, would highly recommend.

Great sounding speaker

Sounds great. I took one star away because the setup instructions are virtually non-existent. You have to go find the setup on the web. You would think with a semi- high-end product like this they would have taken the time to include some setup booklet. Once the unit is setup and paired with your source device it's an awesome like speaker. I've been using it BOTH ways. Sometimes I use the Sonos system as a source and sometimes I use my phone Bluetooth as a source. Overall I'm very happy with the Move2.

SONOS is Terrific!

Love it! You can stream from any platform, use your own music with blue tooth, pick it up and move it to any room and last but not least you can add as many speakers that you want for other rooms to work independently or together!

The sound it produces is great if you crank up the volume. The bass was sometimes a bit much (but the EQ can be adjusted in the Sonos app). I often had the volume at about 3/4 maximum in order to really enjoy whatever I was listening to (mainly classical/metal music). As the description says, you can pair the Move 2 with another one to achieve stereo sound. In other words, if stereo sound is a must-have and you want to stick with Sonos, you need to buy two of these. I'm going to guess that doing so would be a great musical experience, but I really didn't want to spend almost a grand $1,000. The Sonos app was good enough for me. It allows you to adjust the EQ, update the device and stream various music services. I used Bluetooth and wifi connections, and I couldn't discern the difference in quality. However, I do like the fact that while using wifi, it won't stop the music if you get a phone call/text/alarm notification, etc. The power button didn't like to work sometimes. On a few occasions I had to press it multiple times to get it to power off the device. I ordered a JBL Boombox 3 Wifi within a couple of days of receiving the Move 2, and I am glad I did. I ordered it from JBL because at the time Crutchfield didn't have the Wifi version for some reason. In my opinion, the Boombox 3 is probably just as good as two Move 2s as far as sound goes.
