This is a usb 2.0 cable designed to work with computers only. From my exsperiance on my windows 11 desktop with type c 3.1 and my dsd dac. This cable is capped at 24 bit 96 sample rate. Could not get it to do anything higher even when playing higher quality tracks. This is 2022, think Audioquest forgot with this one.
Pros: Quality cable, stellar sound for what you get
Cons: No braided jacket, for pc to dac only, type c 2.0 usb in the year 2022, expensive

Crisp Yet Smooth
Paul from Basking Ridge, NJ on 1/24/2022
Very smooth yet full sounding connection between my MacBook Pro and Sennheiser HDV820 DAC/Amp. I would have liked the cable to be a bit more flexible, but for a solid core build, it's not bad. Very happy with this cable and AudioQuest products.
Pros: Not overly bright Well constructed
Cons: Could be more flexible

The cable is worthy of the AudioQuest name. I am using this cable as an output connection from Astell&Kern SE200 DAP to my STAX SRM-D50 electrostatic DAC/Amp. The sound is extremely musical and no loss of signal detected.

Crystal Clear Music
Crutchfield customer from Womelsdorf, PA on 11/30/2020
Got the AudioQuest Carbon USB interconnect to send signal from my MacBook Pro to Cambridge Audio CXA81 amp. Using bit perfect Audirvana and Tidal MQA the sound is crystal clear with no background distortion. It is expensive for a computer cable but worth every penny.
Pros: Clear and no distortion, you get what you pay for.
Cons: A bit expensive but worth it.
