Mythos LCR Series: The LCR-65 is part of Definitive Technology's Mythos Series that blends high-performance sound with designer aesthetics to elevate the sound of your flat-panel TV and give you an immersive home theater experience. The Mythos Series LCR-65 is very versatile and can be used as a front left, front right, or center speaker. The LCR-65's ultra-slim enclosure measures only 1.9375" deep and can extend from 32.625"-36.0" to perfectly align with the dimensions of your flat-panel TV for a cohesive look (it extends 3.375" from each end).

2-Way Driver Design: The Definitive Technology Mythos LCR-65 utilizes a two-way, five-driver array with a single 1" aluminum oxide dome tweeter and four 3.5" XTDD aluminum dome woofers for dynamic, room-filling sound.

• 1" Aluminum Oxide Dome Tweeter: The rigid, well-damped aluminum oxide 1" tweeter delivers smooth extended response, crisp transients, and pin-point imaging for cohesive, lifelike sound that draws you inside the action.
• Four 3.5" XTDD Aluminum Dome Woofers: Four ultra-stiff anodized aluminum dome 3.5" woofers eliminate break-up and broaden dispersion for crisp, clear sound and a spacious, enveloping soundstage.

Precision Crossover Network: The Definitive Technology Mythos LCR-65's meticulously tuned crossover network is optimized to deliver the most efficient driver performance. The result is richer, fuller sound that is both dynamic and balanced.

Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Sealed Cabinet: The Mythos LCR-65 uses a highly rigid, aircraft-grade aluminum enclosure that is sealed and perfectly tuned for the multi-driver array. You'll experience the truest sound from this rigid sealed enclosure, uncolored by cabinet resonances. The aircraft-grade aluminum cabinet comes with a micro-perforated, powder-coated steel grille that is detachable.

Spring-Post Terminals: A set of spring-post terminals provide connection for your speaker wire (up to 14AWG). The spring-post terminals only accommodate bare wire and do not support banana plug connectors. Make sure to set your AV receiver's crossover to 150Hz or higher.

Mounting Options: The Definitive Technology LCR-65 can be horizontally or vertically wall-mounted, so it can be used as a center channel, front left, or front right speaker. The LCR speaker can be wall-mounted using its integrated keyhole slots (spaced 23.75" apart) or the included bracket (26.3125" in length). Make sure to use #10 x 2" screws (not included) and secure them into wood studs or directly into drywall with wall-anchors (not included). The wall-mount bracket requires a minimum of 4 screws, while the kyehole slots only require 2 screws.

IP66 Rated: The Mythos LCR-65 speaker's weather-resistant, IP66-rated construction protects against dust and high-pressure water streams, while ensuring a reliable performance both indoors and in covered outdoor environments.

Optional Powered Sub: You have the option of adding a Definitive Technology Descend Series powered subwoofer (sold separately - see Accessories Tab) to the Mythos Series LCR loudspeaker to seamlessly extend low-frequency bass performance.
