Great little 4 ch amp for the money! Two issues tho... mounting holes are in awkward positions, hard to access properly. And the speaker output connections are inaccessible once you've installed the amp. No way to access the speaker outputs for tuning or testing the amp.
Pros: Compact, versatile
Cons: Poorly designed mounts and speaker connections.

Does what I bought it to do. Pushing 4- 6" speakers and two tweeters in my Honda. Nice crisp quality audio without having to "crank it all the way up." Happy with this low -ish wattage amp.
Pros: It was small enough to mount under the seat.
Cons: Now that it is under the seat, I cannot easily make adjustments to it from what the installation was set at.

All I can say is this little amp has an incredible price point and packs a PUNCH (no pun intended, Rockford Fosgate). I needed to replace my amp for my boat and this has brought out sound that I never knew existed. Super small footprint, very high quality, great performance and great sound. I was really surprised all around, as this is a great unit at a great price.
Pros: Great performance for my application (boat) Fantastic price point Simple to install, well built delivers great sound Powerful little amp
Cons: Nothing comes to mind - give it a try!

Spend a few extra dollars, buy ANY other amp.
Scott from San Tan Valley, AZ on 11/19/2021
2012 Dodge Truck 1500
Price is alright, but if you want something with a "familiar" set up, buy a Kenwood, Alpine, JL Audio, etc. The "engineer" that designed the speaker terminals on this unit, is not a friend to audio enthusiasts. The speaker terminals have small flat blade screws at the bottom of the terminal block. One of the amps mounting points, is abundantly in the way of accessing the last screw on the speaker terminal. Attaching speaker wires must be done with the amp raised off the mounting surface, in order to secure the wires into the terminals. It makes for a time consuming and frustrating ordeal. All other reputable amp manufacturers use a screw from top speaker terminal.. NOT Sound Ord.. Avoid the headache... buy any other brand.
Pros: Small for tight spaces

Very loud ringing noise, unbearable.
Von from Kronenwetter, WI on 8/16/2021
2021 Honda Accord LX
I got this amp to power four 6.75 speakers. The good news is that it's plenty powerful. The bad news is that it makes an unbelievably high pitched ringing sound, which it then sends to the speakers. It's unbearable and I'm very unhappy with the product. I had a pro audio shop install it, so now it will cost another installation change to have a new amp put in. Additionally, the install shop threw away the box, so I don't believe I can return the item (Correct me if I'm wrong Crutchfield).

Cons: Watch how you ground the amp plus I had to turn the gains up in order to hear anything at first.

I just installed this amp to power 4 Polk Audio DB 652 speakers in my 2001 Mitsubishi Spyder. They were previously powered by the stock Infinity amp. What a huge difference!! Easy installation, and a significant difference in sound level and quality. If you're building a system on a budget, I highly recommend this amplifier.
Pros: Compact size, easy to mount, easy to wire. Good sound quality and decent power levels for a budget amp.
Cons: set screws for speaker wires are on the bottom so you need to connect the speaker wires before mounting, minor inconvenience.

Works fine, but gets really hot
Ryan from MARTINEZ, GA on 6/28/2021
2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I like the small footprint of this amp, it doesn't take up much space at all. It sounds good, has plenty of power for aftermarket speakers, and Crutchfield's customer service is always on point. My issue with this amp is that it gets very hot very fast. I have been installing car audio for several years, and this amp was properly tuned using an oscilloscope. It gets very hot and the fan gets very loud. The strange part to me is that it gets extremely hot even without being used/pushed hard. Just having my stereo on, even at very low volume, will cause this unit to get extremely hot. However, even with the heating issue, I haven't had any problems since I installed it a year ago with the amp cutting out or going into protect mode, I just wonder how long it will last getting so hot so often. Some reviews mentioned that the amp doesn't allow larger enough input wires, but 12 gauge is plenty big for 75 watts, so I'm not sure why you would need larger gauge than that. In fact, for most aftermarket speakers, 16 or even 18 awg speaker wire is fine. Additionally, I personally wouldn't use this amp to power subwoofers, there are other amps in the same price range better suites for subwoofer applications.
Pros: Small, good sound quality for class D, high power output especially for the price.
Cons: Gets stupid hot even with low volume

Terrible whine and random shut offs
Marshall from San Antonio, TX on 3/11/2021
I don't know if I received a lemon or what, but this amp is horrible! I could not get this thing to stop giving alternator whine noise no matter what I tried. Multiple attempts at regrounding, rewiring the power wire, rewiring the remote turn on wire, new RCA cables but no luck. CONSTANT whine. I spoke with a Crutchfield consultant and they suggested RCA inline filters so I even bought those and it still didn't work. The whine was still always there. Then it would just shut off for no reason. It might run for 2 minutes or 30 minutes but it would eventually turn off. I've since replaced it with a Kenwood and every problem has been resolved with no additional wiring of RCA cables, ground cables or anything.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Doesn't work like it should...at all

Noisy, terrible amp
Drew from LYNN HAVEN, FL on 1/19/2021
I bought this amp at the suggestion of the Crutchfield rep. Not sure why, but he seemed to be talking me out of a slightly more expensive name brand amp in favor of this one. Well, I trusted him, and that turned out to be a mistake. This amp is terribly noisy, emitting a high pitched noise intermittently through the speakers. I knew it wasn't alternator whine. It'd do it with the key in any position and wasn't affected by revving the engine. Checked the ground. Double checked the ground. Same issue. It's a noise almost like when the ballast in a fluorescent light fixture is going bad, but louder. "EEEEEEEEEEEE" Mind numbing. On top of the whine, the amp distorts the signal so terribly that quiet, acoustic guitar intros sound as though they were recorded through a megaphone. Just terrible, terrible sound quality all around. Well, Crutchfield is always good about returns, so I put in for one. Unfortunately, my wife mistook the box for trash, and threw it in the garbage. The truck had come and gone by the time I noticed. I guess it's fitting, because that's exactly where this amp belongs - in the garbage. I ended up going with a Kenwood that cost $20 more than this one. No noise, crystal clear sound. Don't make the same mistake. Remember, buy once, cry once. Unless you're installing this in a lawn mower, go with something better.
Pros: Would make a decent door stop
Cons: Noisy Loud Fan

The footprint of this amp is very small. It is currently installed in a 2020 F150 Crew Cab along with the Sound Ordnance M350-1 along with AudioControl's LC6i. I am currently using the 4 channel to push my factory speakers until, well, they give up. I will be replacing them soon. This is a great amp, especially for the price. It is small, plenty of power for mids and highs. I was concerned given the price point and the fact that I was not familiar with the Sound Ordnance brand name. I am not disappointed at all. This 4-channel amp, their mono amp and their 12 inch sub are fantastic in the truck.

You Get More Than you Pay for
Roger! from Spring Hill, TN on 11/28/2020
2002 Porsche Boxster
You've heard the term, "you get what you pay for?" With this amp, you get quite a bit more; I suppose that's the advantage of a house brand. The sound is crisp, clear, and a lot of power for the price paid. It powers four 75 watt rated speakers to distortion easily; and much louder than my ear can handle at full power :-). My opportunity for improvements are to make the speaker wiring harness easier to get on and off. Consider a snap-off, or snap-on instead of the long screws. And make the instructions larger - especially with the speaker wiring diagram. Random advice: Get goo shielded RCA cables. I had to run them twice due to engine noise being present when I turned the amp on. (My fault, not the amp's. All amplifiers have this issue).
Pros: Powerful. Crisp and clear sound. Small size doesn't waste space.
Cons: A bit hard to install with the speaker wiring guide being small print and the speaker wiring harness not easy to pull off or on.

sound ordinance 4 channel
B-rad from Cincinnati, OH on 7/19/2020

excellent compact amp for the money. Choose wisely where you mount runs hot within a few minutes so make sure you have adequate airflow underneath . I love that I can add the bass back into the factory speakers that the factory radio eliminates , the factory door 6x9's really thump and put out some satisfying bass and it really made the rear doors sound like i have aftermarket upgraded speakers. You will need an Audio Control LC2 or 6 if your using a factory radio with no rca outputs, overall I recommend upgrade with this amp before you invest in upgrading your factory speakers .
Pros: bass eq on all 4 channels, excellent sound quality, compact , ability to add low bass missing from most factory systems . 3 year warranty
Cons: runs hot, only has rca input no high level input capability

2 year review
Chris from Portland, OR on 7/6/2020
2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
I used this amp in 2 systems over 2 years and it has done its job. First system was in a 1996 Saab 9000, warranty sticker fell off right out of the box, powered 4 inch speakers in the front and 6x9s in the rear and it was clean, that system had a lot of engine noise coming through, probably because I routed the rca's next to the power cable. The bass boost is pretty nice. The second system was in a 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo, 6.5 infinity components in the front, 6x9 kickers in the rear. I used quality rca's and routed them away from the power cables, I have a clean power and ground with good cables and I still get engine noise, its noisy too so it has to be the from the amp. Otherwise it works great, sounds clean but you have to be careful with the bass boost knob, you can get into clipping pretty quick. Speaker terminals take 16 gauge, I do not see someone shoving 14 gauge in. It does get pretty hot but has not shut off on me. In the first build it was mounted upside down under the passenger's seat, cut the carpet away from where it was mounted, and that was in Arizona. Second system I have it mounted under the rear deck in the trunk, plenty of airflow there and it gets run hard. I believe it puts out its rated power but seems like it outputs less power after it gets warm, like 10 minutes in.
Pros: Works good for budget build, good clean power with good bass boost
Cons: Lets a lot of engine noise in, gets hot, speaker terminals kinda blow but workable

Mine got really HOT
Crutchfield customer from Scottsdale, AZ on 5/27/2020
The size of it is perfect as it is compact but specs are great for it's size. It felt very sturdy out of the box, well built. However, I did not like the small input for the speaker wires and they were difficult to get to once the unit is installed. My old Boss amp is bigger but much easier to get the speaker wire inputs and to double up. The thing that really made me lower the score though is the unit got really hot in a short amount of time. I used the same speaker wire setup on the m75-4 as I did on my 13 year old Boss amp. I started with just one wire per connection the same as my Boss. The Boos amp stayed perfectly cool but not he m75-4. Maybe a I got a bad model. I doubt I wired it wrong given how straight forward it is and that I followed the manual to be sure. I returned it it very quickly as I did not want a fire hazzard.
Pros: size, build seemed solid, price
Cons: small outputs for speaker wires, hard to double up. got really hot very quickly

Good amp
Crutchfield customer from Schertz, TX on 5/17/2020
2007 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra
Installed in my 2007 HD Electraglide and so far very pleased. Using with a Kenwood BT518 receiver and Hogtunes 356F G3 speakers in the fairing and Rockford Fosgate T152 speakers in the rear and it made a huge improvement. The Kenwood alone (50w/channel) didn't have enough volume for highway speeds and the SO amp gives it plenty with plenty to spare. Now I can hear my music nice and loud and very clear at 75mph. Also is small enough to fit on top of the receiver between the receive mounting brackets so it can be installed under the fairing.
Pros: Performance, fit/size, price
Cons: None

Amazing mini amp !
Michael R from Brunswick, GA on 4/8/2020
1972 Buick Skylark
This amp is amazing for it's size. It has some power to it. Adjustments are very nice and functional also. One valuable bit of information everyone needs to realize is... Due to its size, cooling is very necessary as heat sinks are not as bountiful. This is addressed by having a cooling fan incorporated into the amplifier. This fan resides and pushes air through the bottom of the casing. If you flush surface mount this amp, you are eliminating the functionality of this cooling necessity. You need to raise the case up some to allow air to move in and out of the unit to cool.As mentioned, the speaker connections are odd, small and a little awkward, but still plenty functional. I still give this amp 5 stars due to its incredible power for its size !
Pros: Size and output
Cons: speaker connections and mounting requirements for cooling. I believe cooling fan outlet and air inlets could have been on top to aid in mistaken mounting techniques.

Nice piece that makes the whole system work beautifully
Crutchfield customer from Carmel, IN on 1/6/2020
The performance of the amp (installed for about 1 week) has been exemplary. The following equipment is installed in a single cab 85 Chevy K10. I have a Kenwood KMM-X503 head unit feeding the M75-4 amp via RCA cables from the Front Preamp outputs and the Sub Woofer Preamp outputs. Amp channels 1 and 2 are driving a pair of Focal ISS-165 Component Mids and Tweeters. Amp channels 3 and 4 are bridged to drive a Kicker RT-675 2 ohm dual voice coil sub. The Focals are in the doors and the amp and sub are behind the bench seat. Crutchfield was very helpful in making sure I had all of the components properly matched with each other and the result is the best system I have ever had. I was patient and pieced it together over time with everything being at a sale price which always helps. My only criticism of the M75-4 amp is that the output connector is a bit challenging for larger wire diameter, in particular the 12 gauge output leads to the sub. Not a big deal but a better connector would make life a bit easier. I now have more than enough volume to easily overcome windows down driving in a very loud old truck. Matching your components is key!
Pros: Performance for the cost is excellent.
Cons: Connectors are slightly inconvenient but once you are done it no longer matters.

Amp died in one week
Ian from Squamish, BC on 11/25/2019
I bought this amp to use on my motorbike, mounting it inside my Road Glide fairing. The amp is small and light, I installed it inside the fairing using velcro to hold it under the glovebox. The speaker screws are upside down, as others have said, and the fuse is internal. My amp blew within one week of use, taking out one of my Polk MM652 speakers. You can't open the amp to replace the fuse unless you wish to void the warranty, so I sent it back to Crutchfield under warranty (they also replaced the Polk speaker as I bought it from them as well). Crutchfield customer service was great to deal with, per usual. I wished this amp was the 'great buy' for my bike, but I cannot recommend it to others.
Pros: Small, lightweight.
Cons: Poor quality

Great small amp. Installed it in my TJ. Made a big difference with sound quality . Now granted I have a soft top. With the top down, mid volume it sounds great with the 100W component speakers Polk DB 6502. Had to use a hole saw to cut holes for tweeters, but the 6.5" speaker drops right in the roll bar sound system. I used this amp since my front speakers are 50W.
Pros: Affordable, small amp,Looks awesome ,fits in small places. Fits a Wrangler TJ. Easy to adjust.

Sound Ordnance + (M75-4) =( Excellence x 4)
Crutchfield customer from Burnsville, MN on 9/30/2019
The Sound Ordnance M75-4 is installed in a 1997 S10 4DR 4WD Chevy Blazer. The Sound Ordnance M75-4 is connected to the Kenwood DPX792BX Dual DIN CD reciever. Speakers (all 6) are Polk Audio. Purchased from Crutchfield. All the componets of the audio system were purchased from Crutchfield. (Excluding the wires) In addition to a Sound Ordnance 8 inch powered SUB. Pockford Fosgate twisted pair 6 feet signal cables are used for the connections. The Sound Ordnance M75-4 makes a significate improvement in sound quality. It is worth the time and money to install one today. The compact size makes it easy to find a place for it . It has the ability to fine tune the sound. 8 guage power wire and ground wire are used with a 60 amp fuse. Had to ground the Head Unit to the M75-4 ground connection. All of the componets are grounded at the same point. To elminate ground loops. This got rid of the altenator whine. Now the sound is crystal clear. Music played is variety of music genres. Which covers the frequency spectrum (20 to 20k Hertz.) All reproduced faithfully. Sound Ordnance makes GREAT products. You don't have to spend alot of money to have great sound. Cheers.
Pros: It is a very good amp.
Cons: The knobs should have white marks to show knob adjustments.

Nearly great...
Craig from MIDLOTHIAN, VA on 9/16/2019
I don't have too much to add that others haven't already covered. This was recommended by a Crutchfield advisor and it's a great little amp with plenty of power. I have it running front and rear door speakers in a 2018 Toyota Tundra Double Cab. Installation was fairly easy. The cooling fan is on the bottom so you'll need to brace to to something so that the bottom is not sitting on the floor or the vehicle. The amp does get warm when I'm pushing it but that is expected. As others have mentioned, whomever designed the mounting holes on the sides of the unit clearly has never installed an amp before. It takes some effort to get this mounted to anything. Screws will have to go in at an angle. And once it's mounted, the connections can be difficult to get to. As long as you know all of that going into the purchase, you will be just fine.
Pros: Fairly easy hookups, good power in a very small package.
Cons: Screw holes are in a terrible spot. Most connections are angled so that you have to connect from the bottom of the amp. Make all connections prior to mounting!!!

Sounds great. They need to change the mounting. The screw holes are tucked under the case and the inputs. This makes it very difficult to mount the unit with out damaging the inputs. Best Ultra-Compact 4 ch Amp Available for the Price
Nuke from Dallas, TX on 7/21/2019
I replaced a similarly spec'd 4 channel Blaupunkt amp with this SO unit, and while I had no real complaints about the previous amp, this one is definitely the better performing of the two. With everything else kept the same and only the amps switched out, this SO unit wins in every category...except ease of installation. It sounds better, it runs cooler, and it takes up much less space than previous amp. However the trade-offs made to make this amp so compact did show themselves during installation. The speaker wire interface is frustrating to get off, wire up, and put back on. And the mounting holes for screws to hold the amp down are all but inaccessible tucked underneath itself like they are. Now, the cooling fan built in to the bottom is great for keeping it cool, but that means the amp has to sit slightly elevated off whatever surface it's mounted to. That's tricky to say the least with the poorly positioned screw holes for hold down screws. All in all, I think it would be tough to find an amp in the same price range that has similar specs that would outperform this SO amp .very tough. But unless space is at a premium, a similarly spec'd amp in the same price range may be preferable just because of the minor annoyances the extra compact chassis introduces.
Pros: Performance is outstanding. Nothing bad to say about how it does its job once hooked up and playing music. This amp is as good as any other 4 channel amp in its price range, when talking about performance.
Cons: The ultra-compact chassis size comes at the cost of some user friendliness. Getting the amp properly mounted and wired up will take some planning and lots of patience. Not the best option when space is NOT at a premium though.

Great amp for a great price
David from San Antonio, TX on 2/18/2019
This amp is a great addition to my 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab (4 speakers). I was using this with a JVC deck but recently switched to a double DIN Pioneer MVC-2440 head unit and JBL 2 and 3 way door speakers with great sound. Installation was very easy especially with tech support, and the amp wiring kit. My only negative is that the mounting holes are too tight against the unit (for me) making the screw insertion going in at an angle. Other than that, I love this amp and the sound it allows the JBL's to produce.
Pros: Small, compact, and powerful enough for my needs. I don't think anyone can go wrong using a Sound Ordnance product.
Cons: Screw mounting holes are too tight agains the ends of the unit making screw insertion at an angle (not a big deal).

Not strong enough for Infinity Kappa speakers
Joseph from San Diego, CA on 1/26/2019
I bought this amp thinking it would be the correct fit/wattage for my Kappa speakers (6.5" front 62.11i, 6 x 9" rear 93 IX). It is not. After the install (it was professionally done) there were nothing but noise interference issues (buzzing), engine noise feedback (hi/low hum), tapping, fading, you name it. After trying new RCA cables, checking ground wires, connections, etc. nothing worked. I finally had to try a higher wattage amp and the issue was cleared up instantly. The installer believed that it was also a poor quality amp. So, if you're thinking of using this amp for the above mentioned speakers, don't waste your money. Buy a different amp.
Pros: Price
Cons: Doesn't work with Infinity Kappa speakers, just not strong enough or is poor quality..

Steve from San Antonio, TX on 1/3/2019
Great little amp so far, drives my speakers very nicely. Had to turn the gain almost off in order to get my volume to 75% of head unit's max. Took a star off because of the speaker connection block. I found this style terminal block hard to work with. Additionally it would be nice if SO had a website with install tips/tricks for different vehicles/locations. Also was an "open box" unit...
Pros: Easy to install, good set up directions, sounds awesome.
Cons: Speaker terminal block hard to use

Pros: Small. Has a fan to cool down
Cons: You need to fix the amp on an hard flat surface (plywood) to let the air go under the amp for the fan. Also, the access to fix the amp on a flat surface is not the most convenient. Not as powerful as expected.

Great Mini amp!
Jason from San Angelo, TX. on 8/2/2018
The amp is great on the eyes, small in footprint. Settings are clear and easy to get to. Wiring is a little difficult as the input screws are located under it but feasible. Luckily the plug can be removed to do the wiring. I do like the fan, but if put on a flat surface or carpet there will be no air flow, as it is located on the bottom of the amp. It fit under my passenger seat with no problems.
Pros: high pass and low pass crossover built-in size is excellent for hard mounting locations good power for the price has a built-in fan!
Cons: speaker wire inputs are small and hard to get to unless you remove the inputs terminal its self fan built on the bottom, not good for flat surface as will not get air flow

No luck with SO
Ricky from Navarre, FL on 7/21/2018
Lot of good reviews. Out of the box, i would have given it a great review. Little over a year later, Not so much. I received this amp after a SO 4 channel amp went bad on me. This was the new 4 channel at the time of the swap, so i was pretty stoked at the time. Now little over year later same problem, channel 3 and 4 not working and channel 1 and 2 are intermittent if you tap on the x-over switch. A jeep is not the best environment for audio equipment, so this amp may be great in a sealed car or left in the box on a shelf. No slam on Crutchfield, these guys are great and will be ordering again from them soon. Im just staying away from Sound Ordinances products. By the way, who even makes Sound Ordinance? Right!..... that's probably the first question i should have asked.
Pros: Great company to buy from
Cons: Below average product

Get off that fence and buy this amp already!
Mike from Sacramento, CA on 7/20/2018
If you are on the fence on this one, get off! First, it cant be very comfy and second S/O makes the "best" products for the money I have ever been fortunate enough to come across. I started with one enclosed 12" sub with the most amazing fit finish and ungodly tight bass that I bought 2 more the day after installing the first. I am currently running that sub with a bridged 2 channel 1000 Watt JBL amp. With gain at 3/4 I can not make that sub crack under load!!!! So for chuckles and grins I bought this amp for far less cash and used a line driver and no difference between it and the JBL. I am sure you were expecting me to be biased and say that it hit harder, louder and cleaner. It did not. Why is this a good thing? Because, it was half the price, it's a 4 channel amp, (which can be bridged to 2 channels) and only 150 watts with that set up and I could not tell the difference from the much more expensive and much much larger 1000 Watt JBL. So do the math. I have yet to make it jump into protection mode which was an ongoing issue with the JBL (constantly had to adjust the remote gain knob on the line driver). But not anymore with this amp. And it has a nice quality chrome finish that looks great with the lights in my trunk. Thank you a thousand times Crutchfield for introducing me to an amazing product line at an even more amazing price!
Pros: Everything
Cons: Are you serious? Did you even read my review?

Cons: Screw mounts close to body Speaker wire connections on amp not labeled. Make sure to have directions nearby as you hook up speaker wires.

Crutchfield customer from Wilmington, NC on 3/24/2018
I bought this amp, though skeptical at first, and am amazed. This little amp packs a pretty good punch. I have it pushing the Bose factory speakers and a 12 inch Kicker comp in my 2003 Miata. It's more than enough power and sounds great. Thanks Crutchfield.

Love this little amp! It powers the Focal ISS 165 compent and rear ISS 165 2-Ways in rear! Works great! Perfect size and price! Second one I have bought. It also makes the PERFECT upgrade to a 5th Gen Camaro w/ JBL OE system!
Pros: Size and power w/ 4 channels at a great price
Cons: Other than no user servicable fuse I have none. ADD this SO!!

Power as promised, gives my 4 Kicker speakers the punch I wanted so my knobby tires are not the chorus to songs anymore. Killing road noise in a Wrangler is not the easiest of of tasks and this amp did it.
Pros: Power, size
Cons: Internal fuses

Great affordable amp
Kevin from Washington, IL on 2/5/2018
I love this amp. If you're looking for an affordable, easy amp to upgrade you sound, this is the one to buy. I was concerned with the small size when I got it, but once I heard it, all my worries went away
Pros: Great sound, compact size
Cons: Wiring is a little hard, due to the size

Lots of power
Rod from Dawsonville, GA on 1/26/2018
This little amp really packs a punch. Small enough to mount just about anywhere. Really surprised at the power it produces. My old truck sounds great! If there's a negative, the 4 mounting holes are tucked up "inside" the casing of the amp, which makes mounting a little tricky. But that's the price of being a small amp I guess. Would've been better to have the 4 mounting holes extend outside the amp casing. This SO amp is pushing a pair of 6x9 3 way Kickers and a pair of 6x8 Kenwoods and does it very well. Overall, I highly recommend it.
Pros: Size, controls, power, sound
Cons: If you're all thumbs or have big hands, could be a little cumbersum when mounting and attaching speaker wires.

Solid
Jason from Parker, CO on 11/15/2017
This is a great little amp in a small footprint. I've got it wired with all the main speakers in series (my car presented 3ohms / channel) on the front, and bridged for a sub on the rear channel. I'm not using the bass EQ at all as I've driving an 8" Pioneer sub in a small enclosure. At first the sound was terrible, but that was because of ground loop issues, so after installing a pair of isolators (also from Crutchfield), this amp really came to life. Solid
Pros: small footprint, the right power for what I needed
Cons: The pots to adjust the amp are close to the RCA connectors, and in my install they are kinda hard to get to. Would have been nice to have them elsewhere (like on the top) but that is just a nitpick!

I know I read some reviews on this amplifier about the mounting location of the speaker wire but speaking to D and he insisted that this was a good amplifier to push my focal ISS 570 s and my focal 570 AC performance speakers at first I was a little skeptical but after the install man all I can say is wow this is a great combination that was put together and also the compact size of the amplifier allowed me to install under my rear seat with no room lost in the cab of my vehicle all I can say is excellent choice Jo
Pros: Compact size makes for easy installation and easy to hide
Cons: None

Would recommend
Crutchfield customer from Brooksville, FL on 10/10/2017
I would give it five stars but it gives out just before the sound peeks at its best. Still a very good amp at the price. Really gives the music a good tone, just needs a bit more power. If your not looking for loud this would be a good amp.
Pros: Gives good tone to the music.
Cons: Needs just a little more power, like 100-125 watts.

Jody from Texas on 9/27/2017
Great amp for the price. Wish they had a little more powerful compact 4 channel, 100-125 watts, so you could cut the gain back to avoid distortion & still get the full potential of premium speakers.
Pros: Compact size fits under almost any seat. Affordable price.
Cons: THD is on the high end but can't expect much better for a budget. Keep gain cut back to stay distortion free.

Perfect small amp
Zach from Chicago, IL on 9/18/2017
does exactly what i need it to do. I have 4 kenwood door speakers that i paid 40 and 50 per pair and they sound like high quality speakers. This is comoared to the old amp where it made it sound groggy.
Pros: Gives great power, no noise, no heat, small, comes with sticker
Cons: None

Awesome little amp! With amp and radio (kdc-x701) tuned to play distortion free at max volume, it does a heck of a job pushing a pair of Infinty 6.5 components (REF-6520cx) and a pair of 6x8 coaxials (Infinity REF-8602cfx).
Pros: power for price and size
Cons: none

Absolutely Legit.
Chris from Riverside , MO on 7/2/2017
Using this to power up a set of Image Dynamics CTX6.5cs comps front sound stage only and I must say that this amp is legit . Super clean sound even at full tilt volume , why pay more for the bigger brands when this does the job just as good . Do yourself a favor and try Sound Ordinance amps , I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Pros: Price point , compact , super clean , plenty of power . 3 yr warranty.
Cons: None yet

Powerful / great value with 2 flaws
Mark from North Plainfield, NJ on 6/5/2017
Small size, powerful clean sound, great value. There are 2 problems I have with this amp. The speaker harness needs to be wider. The holes where you connect each speaker wire into the harness is too close together making installation more difficult then it needs to be. The second problem is every time you turn the amp off it makes a single pop sound thru the speakers. I've had 2 other amps from different brands that did not make any noise when turning off. I would rate this amp 5 stars if it were not for those 2 problems.
Pros: Small size, powerful clean sound, great value
Cons: speaker harness needs to be wider for easier installation, speakers pop when amp turns off.

Looks way to good to hide !
Florian from Salt Lake City, UT on 4/24/2017
I use this amp in my travel van to control 4 speaker pairs in a total of 7 speaker pairs. So I own a concert hall on wheels, absolutely great sound :-) The amp gives me an incredible control to balance the 4 speaker pairs and the 3 speaker pairs controlled by the dash radio. I'm still experimenting to find the right balance, it's kind of time consuming to fiddle around with the many controls. Nice is the option to use the amp just as amp or to control speakers as kind of subwoofer using the cross over options. The amp gives you a lot for the price you pay. Would buy it again without a question.
Pros: I love the fact that you can control the level separately for Channel 1&2 resp Channel 3&4. This gives me total control over the 3 speaker pairs controlled by the dash radio and the 4 speaker pairs controlled by the amp. Really looks very good, I'm kind of sorry to hide this "beauty*
Cons: I read the fuse is within the amp, how to I replace the fuse without opening the case and voiding the warranty?
