Excellent sound!
Francis from Waterville, OH on 7/3/2025
Headphones are very comfortable and feel secure while wearing them.
Pros: Great sound and comfortable wearing them. The quality is very good. These are well built. I like that you can replace the battery when it won't charge anymore rather than buying a new pair.
Cons: Feel a little heavy when first wearing them but I think that this is due to the solidly built product.

Best of the bunch
John from St Louis, MO on 12/21/2024
These are the best headphones I have ever owned. Everything you have read is true. So here are some things you have not heard. The Bluetooth range is well over 100 feet. I walk all over my home with a solid signal. When cutting the lawn, my phone stays on the deck, Bluetooth covers the full yard. The adjustable noise canceling is even better. On high it totally blocks the leaf blower, or lawnmower. The lower setting is great as well. The EQ adjustment tool is super too. For years I flew all over the world on business. My old B--s would run out of power. My Cambridge cans rock from NYC to London and back with power to spare. But the soundstage effect blew my mind. On other cans I heard stereo and mono, Nothing in between, but with the P100 I could pinpoint clearly the position each of instrument The P100 is absolutely the best I have ever heard.
Pros: Everything is perfect.
Cons: I buy all my gear from Crutchfield. But I did not buy my P100s from Crutchfield because in the beginning Crutchfield did not carry the P100. But check my Cambridge purchase history. I would have if I could have.

Great all-around choice!
Lewis from Sarasota, FL on 9/17/2024
Before I acquired Cambridge's first offering in cans I was considering paying more-a lot more-for higher-end models. I am glad I scaled back (financially) to purchase the Melomania P100! My wife and I have used the P100s to listen to the audio streaming from Netflix and Peacock and have been impressed with the panorama of sound emanating from these headphones. When a vehicle in motion leaves the screen one can sense it actually passing beyond the back of the earpiece. Unexpected! As a performing classical musician I am sensitive to recordings on several levels: instrumental timbre, soundstaging, and clarity. Based on what I have heard so far it is my opinion that the P100 excels in all of those areas. Bass frequencies are never bloated but, on the contrary, are quite realistic. Beyond that I would also have to say that it captures the essence of the recording. By this I mean that one can sense whether the performers were close-miked (or not), the degree of reverb added for enhancement, etc. I cannot think of a higher complement to pay and, as they punch way above their price point, I believe they represent an amazing value. What about ANC? While not the industry leader in this regard, I would say it is above average, certainly sufficient for our needs. Battery life? It really lives up to the hype. We have yet to recharge it since the purchase! Once again, Crutchfield has come through in stellar fashion with their service. Buy the P100 with confiden
Pros: Versatility Comfort Instrumental and vocal timbre Soundstaging Accurate presentation
Cons: Higher-end cable for wired listening would be a welcome addition. The icing on the cake!

Very Pleasant Listening Experience
Robert from San Diego, CA on 9/8/2024
Very comfortable, and the sound quality is exceptional. The sound is very detailed without the exaggerated low and high frequencies common with earbuds and most headphones. I use these with my computer to listen to music, and watch streaming networks. My home audio system, unfortunately, predates Bluetooth connectivity. I never liked using headphones that relied on a jack plug connection to the stereo, and dealing with tangled connection cables. I still might use an adapter with these to enjoy listening to my stereo system again.

Numerous Problems Using Wired
These are decent headphones IF you only ever want to use them wirelessly. But, if you ever plan to use them wired (using the included USB C-to-C or the USB C-to-3.5mm cables) there are so many functional shortcomings and defects, it's a constant source of frustration I'd recommend avoiding. This review doesn't allow enough space to describe all the problems so I'll cover just a few: 1) Even with the latest version of the app/firmware it STILL doesn't recognize when the headphones are connected via the USB C-to-C cable. Therefore, you can't a) adjust ANY headphone settings or b) update the firmware. The only current way to do either of those is connect the headphones wirelessly. Which means you lose to ability to listen to audio without a wireless Bluetooth codec compressing the signal; which defeats the point of using them wired. It also means firmware updates must be done via very slow bluetooth rather than the much faster USB connection. So, make sure to set the headphones to their longest 60 minute timeout and prepare for a 45 minute wait. 2) Although you can listen to audio using either wired connection, neither supports making phone calls. Yes, you read that right. No, that's not me making a mistake... I have confirmed it with Cambridge Audio Support. And also no, this huge feature shortcoming was NOT disclosed in the product literature. 3) When wired, the annoying flashing blue LED shows it is nevertheless constantly wasting battery seeking a BT pairing.

Love them
Marty from MELBOURNE, FL on 8/13/2024
In my search for a set of really good bluetooth headphones, I came across these. I read and watched every review on could find on them. There were a lot of rave reviews and I took the plunge. I do not regret it, these are awesome. I did not buy them for the noise cancelling but they seem to work good. The sound from these are incredible. I switch back and forth from the flat eq setting to the rock setting depending on the music genre. I listen to everything from classical to heavy metal. In addition to the sound quality I purchased these because of the ability to change the battery, the ear pads, and multi point blue tooth. The build and sound quality of these headphones are on par with the Bose, Sony and some of the higher priced options out there.

Cambridge Audio Melomania P100
Guest from Ramsey, NJ on 8/9/2024
Bought these over the momentum 4 and could not be happier. First comfort. I can wear them around house for a number of hours without them bothering me but thing headband can be a little more comfortable. I don't use ANC a lot but these do a decent job. Not as good as Sony or Bose but they sound better and that's what I bought them for. I have not had to change the equalizer at all. I listen to music flat. Bass is good and not overpowering g. The mods and trebles stand out to me. I can hear every instrument played. My taste vary from classic rock to jazz and all sound good. The soundstage is wide. I've also listened to them connected to my TV for movies and they do a great job with the sound. I've tried a free trial of Tidal music and the high res music sounds excellent. Have used them wirelessly and with the USB -C cable connected to my IPad. Again excellent sound. For the price one of the best wireless headphones. I tried the Sonos and like the sound of these better
