Product Research
Features
All-In-One Powered Column PA: The JBL EON ONE Mk2 is a portable PA system consisting of a powered woofer enclosure and an acoustically-optimized column array speaker. The EON ONE Mk2 features an integrated 5-channel mixer with individual channel tone controls; a powerful Lexicon effects engine with Reverb, Delay and Chorus; dbx DriveRack technology with Automatic Feedback Suppression; 8-Band Master EQ; a Limiter on each channel; and Soundcraft's One-Touch Ducking. A rechargeable battery pack can provide up to 6 hours of operation without having to be near an AC power outlet. The EON ONE Mk2 speakers are housed in rugged enclosures that are designed for the rigors of the road. The column PA system is an ideal choice for DJs, musicians, entertainment venues, corporate presenters, rental companies, and more.
Class D Amplifier: The powered PA system employs a 400W RMS (1500W peak) class D amplifier with power factor correction and high-linearity inductors that provide clean, efficient system power, superior headroom, low THD, and protection from voltage spikes. The EON ONE Mk2 can provide up to 123dB SPL when connected to AC power, and 119dB when powered by the included battery pack.
Column & Bass-Reflex Speakers: The JBL EON ONE Mk2 features a single 10" woofer mounted in a bass-reflex enclosure, providing low-end extension down to 37Hz. Three vertical array (column) sections are included: A Speaker Array that houses eight 2" high-frequency drivers, a Battery Spacer that contains the rechargeable battery, and a Column Spacer that can add more height to the Speaker Array. The Battery Spacer and Speaker Array can be used without the Column Spacer allowing the array to sit lower - 60.88" total height. If the Column Spacer is used, the array stands 78.88" tall. The EON ONE Mk2 can provide a wide 140° (H) x 30° (V) dispersion pattern (with all spacers used).
5-Channel Mixer: The EON ONE Mk2's powered mixer features five input channels along with one 1/4" pass-thru connection.
- Ch. 1-3 (Mic/Line Inputs): Balanced XLR/1/4" combo connectors for connecting a microphone via XLR, or a line-level device via 1/4".
- Ch. 4 (1/4" Hi-Z Input): A balanced 1/4" jack can instrument-level signals.
- Ch. 5 (Stereo Input): Use this stereo minijack (3.5mm) input to connect a portable audio player, such as your Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone/tablet.
- 1/4" Pass-Thru: A balanced 1/4"jack lets you pass the main mixed output signal to additional powered PA speakers (sold separately). Pass-Thru and Time Align settings in the menu system provide additional processing, if desired, to the Pass-Thru output. Options include:
- Full Range: No change to the output signal.
- Sub: Applies an 80Hz crossover to the output signal, with signals above 80Hz played through the EON ONE Mk2 and signals below 80Hz sent to the Pass-Thru output.
- LPF on Pass-Thru Out: Applies a low-pass filter to the Pass-Thru output, but does not affect the signal played from the EON ONE Mk2.
- Time Align: Lets you apply a time-delay to both the signal from the EON ONE Mk2 and from the Pass-Thru output.
Panel Controls: The JBL EON ONE Mk2's powered mixer includes six push-button/rotary controls, providing independent level adjustment for each of the five input channels along with a main volume. Two operational modes, Mix Mode and Channel Strip Mode, provide dual function of each channel. In Mix Mode, each channel knob controls its respective channel's signal gain. In Channel Strip Mode, each knob controls a specific function for the currently selected channel. Functions include: Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble, Reverb, Delay, and Chorus. A crisp, detailed LCD display and navigation controls lets you easily see and change menu settings. A Master/Menu dial is used for menu navigation as well as a master volume control for the mixed output signals.
Lexicon FX Processing: The JBL EON ONE Mk2 features a built-in Lexicon effects engine that can provide Reverb, Delay, and Chorus effects. Each effect includes 7 pre-configured Presets along with a Custom Preset for saving your own settings.
- Reverb: Each Reverb Preset lets you adjust the Size and Pre-Delay amounts, as well as the high- and low-frequency amounts. Reverb Presets include: Room Small, Room Medium, Room Medium Bright, Room Large, Hall Medium, Hall Medium Bright, and Hall Large.
- Delay: Parameters include, Beats Per Minute (BPM) lets you enter the tempo of the song for in-sync delay, SubDivision lets you enter the number of times the delay returns the signal per beat. Other parameters include: Delay Length, Feedback, Low-Pass Filter, and Level to Mix. Delay Presets include: Simple Quarters, Simple Eights, Simple Triples, Simple 1:1, Staggered Echo, Bounce Wall, and Fast Spring.
- Chorus: The Chorus setting lets you adjust the Rate, Depth, Width, and Level to Mix. Presets include, Slow Light, Slow Deep, Fast Light, Fast Deep, Smooth Vibrato, High Pass, and Medium Narrow.
Channel Processing: Pressing any one of the input channel Gain dials gives you access to individual channel processing such as Mute, Phantom Power, Gate, Compressor, Input EQ, and FX Send.
- Mute: Lets you quickly mute and unmute the selected channel.
- Phantom Power (Ch.1&2 Only): +48V of phantom power can be applied to Channels 1 & 2. The Phantom Power option affects both channels simultaneously.
- "Ducking by Soundcraft": This is a side-chain compressor feature that can be used to lower the music playback level while a person is speaking into a microphone. Settings include selecting the channel(s) that will be used to trigger the ducking, the ducking sensitivity for each channel, and the level of music reduction while someone is speaking.
- Input EQ: Includes a parametric EQ with individual Gain, Frequency, and Q (width) parameters. Additional options include a high-pass filter. The control panel Bass, Mid, and Treble controls can also be used for quick tone shaping.
- FX Send: Lets you adjust the amount of channel signal sent to each of the aforementioned Lexicon FX processors.
dbx DriveRack: The JBL EON ONE Mk2 includes Harman's dbx DriveRack signal processors including AFS, Master EQ, and Limiter. All dbx DriveRack processing is applied to the mixed main output signal.
- AFS (Automatic Feedback Suppression): This uses auto-sensing and very tight-width EQs before the output stage, allowing up to 3dB of additional gain to the output signal before getting audio feedback.
- Master EQ: An 8-band parametric EQ lets you fine-tune the output signal. Seven Presets and a Custom Preset are provided, with each Preset pre-configured for common speech and music styles. Adjustments include Filter Frequency and Q (filter width).
- Output Limiter: The Output Limiter provides a "brick wall" limiter on the master mix, after the Master EQ in the signal chain. This helps protect the column PA speaker from damage when playing loud signals. Settings include Threshold, OverEasy, this smooths the signal transition before it reaches the threshold level, and Makeup Gain.
Bluetooth Control App & Audio Streaming: The JBL Pro Control App (Bluetooth 5.0), available for iOS and Android, lets you remotely control the EON ONE Mk2's master volume, save and recall EQ presets, adjust the user definable parametric EQ, as well as activate the built-in AFS (Automatic Feedback Suppression) and other DSP functions. The JBL Pro Control app also lets you stream audio from your Bluetooth-enabled playback device, letting you play and sing along with the music. Up to 10 EON ONE Mk2 PA speakers can be controlled from one device running the JBL Pro Connect app.
USB 2.0: Two USB-A ports (2.0) are provided on the control panel for device charging and firmware updates. The USB ports can also be used for powering an optional AKG wireless system using an optional JBL adapter cable (AKG wireless system and adapter cable sold separately).
Portability: The JBL EON ONE Mk2 column array is designed for quick setup and breakdown with each of the three interlocking segments simply snapping together. Storage slots are built into the woofer enclosure for storing and transporting the three array segments. The woofer enclosure features an integrated carry-handle on the top panel. The complete system weighs 42.5 lbs.
Battery or AC Powered: The EON ONE Mk2 includes a rechargeable battery pack (36V/97.2Wh), in the form of an array column spacer, that can provide up to 6 hours of operation on a full charge and take approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge. The column PA also includes a 6.5' AC power cable (IEC 3-prong) for powering the speaker and recharging the provided battery.
