The JBL GSB12 installs underground in your lawn or garden area, adding deep, powerful bass to your outdoor commercial sound system. Burying this sub leaves only its top-mounted port cap visible above the ground. It pairs perfectly with JBL's GSF commercial landscape speakers for a discreet-looking installation.

The GSB12's 12" woofer handles up to 900 watts program power (450 watts RMS), and its 70/100-volt transformer allows convenient integration with distributed commercial audio systems. The woofer is protected by a composite enclosure, and its port cap is weatherproof so the sub can stand up to the elements.

Overview: The JBL GSB12 In-Ground Landscape Subwoofer is designed to compliment JBL GSF full-range landscape speakers to provide rich, full-range sound in the lawn and garden areas of hospitality, corporate, and retail spaces.

Design & Installation: The JBL GSB12 features a 12" subwoofer driver mounted in a fully-composite enclosure with a weatherproof port cap. The enclosure's bandpass design can deliver deep, low-end extension, with only the port cap and port tube visible above the ground. The port cap features a down-facing opening that's protected by heavy screen mesh, keeping out dirt and insects. An included Base Plate can be attached to the bottom of the enclosure, providing added stability. It also adds additional security by making the subwoofer more difficult to pull out of the ground. The GSB12 subwoofer can be mounted to a flat horizontal surface; additional screw holes on the base plate can be used to attach it to a deck or flooring.

Note: The JBL GSB12 will require a hole to be dug approximately 22" in diameter and 26" deep for installation.

Power: The JBL GSB12 landscape subwoofer can handle 450W of RMS power (1800W peak) and can be wired for 6-ohm, 70V, or 100V operation. Connection to the enclosure is made through an installed 40" input harness consisting of bare-ended 14 ga. speaker wire that's protected by a heavy-duty outer sheath. Voltage taps are determined by the color of wire connected to your amplifier;
