Features
Marine Certified: The Wet Sounds WS-MC-RND digital media receiver is built for the marine environment with an IPX5 rating and even has a voltage monitor and alarm to warn you when your vessel's battery voltage is reaching critically low levels.
Note: The Wet Sounds unit features a non-volatile memory (NVM), allowing it to retain audio settings, radio presets, zone configurations and more, even when power is disconnected from the unit.
2.75" LCD Display: The Wet Sounds WS-MC-RND features a 2.75" LCD display with both manual and automatic dimming. In Day mode, the LCD screen displays a white background with black characters. By connecting the provided trigger wire (Dim Input) on the receiver to your craft's lighting circuit, the display will switch automatically when the lights are activated.
Note: This unit does not support a wired or wireless remote control.
Mounting Options: The Wet Sounds MC-RND round chassis mounts in a gauge-style opening. The included mounting bracket, hardware, and integrated gasket secure the digital media receiver to the flat surface.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming: Thanks to built-in Bluetooth with support for A2DP/AVRCP 1.4, you are able to stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content on your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet device to the Wet Sound WS-MC-RND digital media receiver. The system will provide basic playback controls including Play/Pause and Previous/Next Track. Advanced music control and song/artist/album information will still have to be done from your Bluetooth-enabled source device. Multiple Bluetooth-enabled source devices can be paired, while two remain connected to the marine receiver, so you can easily switch between Bluetooth devices.
Dual USB-A Ports: The WS-MC-RND offers two USB-A ports; one can be used for music playback and charging, while the other can be used for charging purposes only.
- USB MSC Playback: The USB-A port labeled "USB Media" supports MP3/WMA music playback of a connected USB MSC (mass storage class) device, such as a thumbdrive. The unit provides Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, and Random/Repeat control functions. It will also display song/artist/album info (no album art).
- USB Charging Only: The USB-A port labeled "Charge Only" allows you to charge a USB-enabled electronic device, such as your smartphone.
Aux Input: The Wet Sounds WS-MC-RND is outfitted with a 3.5mm Aux input for connection of a portable digital audio player that features an analog output or headphone jack.
AM/FM/Weather Band Radio: The built-in AM/FM tuner provides manual, seek, and preset tuning. In also features a Weather Band tuner so you can stay ahead of the storms out on the water. You can store up to 12 FM station presets, 6 AM station presets, and 6 WB station presets. You can even select between North American and Europe tuning.
4-Channel Amplifier: The Wet Sounds WS-MC-RND digital media receiver features a built-in 25 watt RMS (50W Peak ) x 4 channel amplifier that's 2O stable, so it can handle up to eight 4O speakers.
Note: You can completely bypass the internal amp and turn it off for greater efficiency when using solely external power amplifiers.
6-Channel Line Outputs: The Wet Sounds WS-MC-RND outfitted with three pair of line-level outputs; including Zone 1 L/R, Zone 2 L/R, and Dual Sub.
- Dual Zone Audio: The digital media receiver's Zone 1 and Zone 2 line outputs allow you to set up two zones of audio on your boat or vessel. The receiver's front & rear speaker outputs, as well as the dual sub outputs are also designated for Zone 1. You can choose two increase or decrease the volume of each zone separately or together. The same audio source is played back in both zones.
- Dual Sub Out: The dual subwoofer outputs allow you to connect a powered subwoofer or subwoofer amplifier. The subwoofer outputs are mixed-mono and full-range, so you'll need a powered sub or sub amp that has a built-in low pass crossover. You can independently adjust the dual subwoofer outputs from the volume level of the rest of the system.
Equalizer: The Wet Sounds WS-MC-RND V2 offers 5 EQ presets and Off - Flat, Rock, Pop, Classic, and Jazz. Separate Bass and Treble settings with 0-12 adjustment are also available.
