Should be required for the KEF LS50
Ronald from Stamford, CT on 6/19/2025
These are the perfect complement to the KEF LS50. So much so that you probably shouldn't play the LS50s without a set of IsoAcoustics Apertas -- whether on a shelf or on a stand.
Pros: Easy to set up. No guesswork.
Cons: Measure first to be sure they don't add too much height for your application.

Speaker stands
Dale from Joplin, MO on 3/8/2025
They are sturdy and feel well designed. Easy to adjust and set up. I use them with computer speakers and was surprised at what an improvement it made in the sound quality. It would be nice to have a little more flexibility in how much adjustment you can make, especially with height.
Pros: Sturdy, easy to set up.
Cons: A bit expensive.

IsoAcoustics Aperta
Roger from CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA on 2/18/2025
Not only do these speaker stands look AMAZING, but they are quite functional as well. I placed them beneath my Audioengine HD6 powered bookshelf speakers and was quite pleased with the result. By no means do these make a night-and-day difference to the sound, but they do clean it up. My speakers are in a VERY bouncy room where sound gets muddied pretty easily. These stands helped sharpen up the sound, preventing some of that background resonance that leads to muddy sound.
Pros: Very easy sound upgrade Striking design with really top-notch build quality.

If you have bookshelf speakers and are having a hard time getting rid of that muddy bass this is the buy for you. My gym is now a much better workout location and my Canton bookshelves sound clean as they are meant to be . The setup reminds me of some wood stands they made back in the 80's for floor standing speakers but now I'm just showing my age.

Fredrik from Wallingford, CT on 1/26/2024
These are/were exactly what I was looking for. I have a set of high end bookshelf speakers set on top of my primary speakers. Located as such I need to angle them down towards my listening position. These stands allowed me to position the perfectly. Although somewhat pricey they are what I needed. No complaints here.
Pros: Allowed perfect positioning of speakers for a listening position. Easy to adjust.
Cons: Somewhat pricey.

LS50 Meta & Apertas
Jonathan from Cranston, RI on 12/29/2023
Overall very nice stands. Adjustable elevation on one side allowing either the front or rear to be elevated depending on what's needed for an angle. Solid construction and seems to support the Metas nicely considering their weight and how front heavy they are.

The quality of the stands are excellent, I used these on my B&W 706 S3's, the increased imaging changed the room for my height speakers! Really did make a difference!
Pros: Nicely made aluminum stands.
Cons: Wish they made them in gold.

Great option
Kevin from Moore, OK on 9/11/2023
I was needing to angle my speakers down at a random angle. These stands allowed me to adjust them to whatever angle I needed. I also needed to decouple the speaker from the cabinet I had them setting on. The rubber feet really hold the speaker solid to the cabinet and the speaker. not easy to slide around at all. They also have a great look.
Pros: Can Easily adjust the angle, Hold speaker very sturdy, great look.
Cons: I don't think it will move after putting back together, but maybe something to lock the adjuster in place when you get it where you want.

In addition to functioning, needs to look sharp
Kent from ORANGE, CA on 6/13/2023
At this price point we expect accessory items to look good as well as being functional. Works well, improved sound of speakers, but the castings are poor and the paint job barely passable. In my opinion does not look like a set of kit for this price, save your money and purchase the standard IsoAcoustics stands in black. These are being returned.
Pros: Works
Cons: Poor quality.

Good tuning tool
Andrew from East Granby, CT on 12/28/2022
I was able to setup and adjust the placement of my speakers so much better even though there in a less than optimal location to begin with. Not the cheapest option but alot better than everything else I have tried previously. If you want to improve the sound of your speakers it is worth the investment mids and highs are so much better after making some adjustments.
Pros: Excellent adjustability and good looks. Made a noticeable improvement on the midbass alot cleaner.
Cons: A little pricey.

Immediate positive results

Solid Isolator Stands
Crutchfield customer from Apex, NC on 6/10/2021
First, I think these guys look good, they fit my KEF Wireless 50's great. I like the adjustable height/tilt. They are very sturdy and stable, on a shelf they do not move around at all. I had to get these more expensive versions due to the weight of the speakers but I feel better about having my pricy speakers resting on quality stands/isolators. They also clearly help keep the bass from rattling the shelves. 2nd, they are expensive for small stands but based on the points above, I feel they are worth it.
Pros: Solid. Quality. Do their job. Adjustable. Clean modern design.
Cons: Cost.

I have these set on a hardwood floor underneath a pair of KEF Q350's. I set them at a 4 degree up-angle using the adjustable height screws cleverly hidden inside the front legs of the stand, which are accessible when you pull the stand apart. Theses stands are much lighter in weight than they appear and give an industrial look, as if the speaker is sitting on a suspension coil. Overall a great option to stay away from the "tower" look of most other bookshelf stand designs.

Very Nice
Crutchfield customer from Menomonee Falls, WI on 1/31/2021
Well designed and packaged. These stands work great and improved the sound by getting my bookshelf speakers off of the media table they were originally sitting on. No concerns about the speakers slipping off of the stands, even when tilting them on an upward or downward angle.
Pros: Work well and sturdy
Cons: Expensive for what they are

I've used Gaia footers on the stereo REL 212 subs and Focal Nova Utopia main speakers in my media room with great results. I was hoping for similar benefits with my new KEF LS50W speakers on my desktop at work, and I'm not at all disappointed. The speakers disappear and present an even wider and deeper soundstage and they're amazing at baseline. Easy to set up and adjust. Highest recommendation.

IsoAcoustics Aperta
Charles from New York, NY on 8/25/2020
It does what its supposed to do but the quality and workmanship are very poor; more in line with a <$50 product. Ridiculously poor for a product at this price. I feel a bit ripped off. I actually thought I had counterfeits until I watch some you-tube reviews. I should have watched those first. This has tuned me off of all IsoAcustics products. I was considering purchasing the Gaia isolation feet as part of an upgrade to my speakers but no chance now.
Pros: Exposes IsoAcustics as a ripoff company.
Cons: Very very poor workmanship. Quality to price ratio is very low.

surprising huge difference in the sound
Crutchfield customer from Tarrytown, NY on 8/4/2020
Well built and made a surprising huge difference in the sound of my Snell JIV speakers that I just restored.Bass tightened up and imaging and sound stage really widened and improved. The Snell's are a small floor standing speaker and the Aperta Model was just a bit too small so idid have to return them for two sets of the more expensive Gaia III's.As of this writing I am still tweaking the Gaia's to equal the sound of the Apertas which allowed me to tilt upward my speakers to achieve the sound I was looking for.I can highly recommend the Aperta stands. They are not just another"gimmick' to improve sound of your set up.They are the real deal. !!!!
Pros: well built, easy to adjust for height, dramatic improvement in sound!! excellent customer service too.
Cons: a little wobbly for floor standing speakers.

I have the IsoAcoustics L8R155 plastic stands for my desktop monitors, and got the Aperta for my living room towers because they have a slightly higher weight rating and I thought the (silver) aluminum would look sleek. I was wrong. Look closely at the photos before buying. The aluminum is a cheap-looking powder coat that is not at all representative of the price. The plastic isoacoustic stands look better to me and they have the benefit of providing two different heights, which the Aperta do not. For about half the price, honestly save your money and get the L8R155. Functionally the Aperta are great, but so are the plastic ones.

Skeptical and surprised
D from Indianapolis on 8/29/2017
Admittedly, I doubted how a thee (3) inch elevation and 2 degree forward tilt of my Focal 705s would enhance the midrange of my music; however, listening is believing. I not only heard more midrange instruments and subtle foot taps from live acoustic performances, but elevating the 705s also provided a more subtle and eloquent bass - no more muffled-shake-the-floor for my music. Sometimes hear subtleties I missed before, so listening experience is brand new and refreshing.
Pros: Great idea and design. Leave it to the Canadians, eh?
Cons: Way too pricey.

isoacoustics Aperta speaker stands
Alex from Hawaii on 1/10/2016
Having used several types of speaker isolation for stand mount monitor loudspeakers these are by far the most effective at absorbing unwanted resonance traveling from speaker through metal stands into the wooden floor in my application. The added feature of tilting forward or backwards is quite handy especially with high stands 28" in this case and larger than normal monitor loudspeakers 18 1/2 inches tall which I just purchased.
Pros: Aesthetically good looking, the ability to tilt the speakers forward or backwards, rubber mounting surfaces both top and bottom. Protects the bottom of the speaker from damage.
Cons: Since the speakers are essentially floating a bit they are not as stable as if one was to use say Blutak and adhere the speaker cabinet to the top of the stands, which BTW usually damages the underside of the speaker.
