Features

Overview: The IsoAcoustics Inc. ISO series speaker stands provide superior acoustic isolation that will enhance the sound clarity of any speaker including studio monitors, home theater systems and sound reinforcement. The stand's design uses patented technology that provides a high degree of isolation and eliminates energy transfer into the supporting surface, providing better overall imaging and tighter bass control.

PIF Principles: IsoAcoustics ISO series stands have PIF Principles of acoustics incorporated into their design:

  • Placement: The proximity to adjacent and nearby surfaces. The stands raise the speakers off the supporting surface and away from adjacent surfaces to reduce reflections.
  • Isolation: The stands decouple the speakers from the supporting surface to reduce the energy from exciting other objects. The speaker is allowed for float independently.
  • Focus: By raising and tilting the speakers, the stands create an ideal listening position. The speakers should be tilted to the listeners ear level, and positioned to form an equilateral triangle from the speakers to the listener.

Configuration:  The ISO-200 stands include two different lengths of support tubes along with two different size tube-inserts, providing 14 variations in height and tilt angle adjustment. This allows you to optimize placement and performance by getting the tweeters in the correct alignment with the listening position. Designed to be used with larger size home speakers and studio monitors, both top and bottom isolators have a 7.75" x 9.88" footprint. Overall height of the stands can be set from 3.5" up to 8.75" and they can support up to 60 lbs. each.

Note: Use the IsoAcoustics Calculator to determine which ISO series stand is right for your speaker.

Customer Q&A

7 questions already asked

Q
Can these stands be used without the tilt function, just raising the speakers but keeping them level?
ralph  Oct 31, 2024
1 answer
A
Greetings Ralph. Thank you for your question. The ISO 200's come with 4 short inserts, and 4 long inserts only, if it came with 8 of each you could make them level. It might be worth a try to see if you can purchase 4 short, or long inserts direct from ISO Acoustics. If you did not need to raise the height of your speakers, you could get 2 of the ISO 200 SUB. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_892ISO2SUB/IsoAcoustics-ISO-200-Sub.html?tp=98058

Q
Could I use these stands to sit Mission 770s on my Klipsch subs--which are on the special floor isolation pads? I could then put the Mission stands away for a different location later.

Greetings George, and thank you for your question. Honestly I would not recommend these sitting on top of a subwoofer. Yes they will reduce normal everyday vibrations, but subwoofers are not normal everyday vibrations. On a second note Mission 770s are quite the expense, and for that reason, I would continue to use their stands.

Q
Are these suitable for vintage Pioneer CS-700G speakers?
jim  Oct 13, 2022

A
They should work great! They can easily support the weight, and the speakers don't appear to be too large either!

Q
Can the 10" side be used as the front with the option to tilt?
roy  Mar 23, 2022

A
Yes, the tilt will work when the 10" dimension is being used as the width!

Q
Does these work with Polk Audio RTi A7s?

A
I use them on the RTI A3's and they work fine but the A3s are bookshelf speakers the A7s are floor standing. I wanted my rear channels up a little higher and felt some isolation wouldn't hurt. They are overkill for my A3s but may not be big enough for A7s (would need to double check dimensions). Doubt you would have an issue with the weight of the A7s on them - just not sure how stable they would be if the base of the speaker is bigger than the ISO. You may want to look at the ISO pucks - they are intended to be used with floor standing speakers (often fasten in the same place as the floor spikes).

A
Easy to find out. Just get the speaker dimensions, width and depth and compare them with the ISO base dimensions. As far as weight should be ok.
jose  Dec 05, 2020

The Polk RTi A7s are floor standing speakers and are already engineered with built in feet. The driver arrays and angles of dispersion have been carefully thought out and are optimized for the average seated listener. Further, the large slender cabinets would be rather vulnerable to falls on these stands. Personally, I wouldn't do it.

Is this the right size for UniFi UB5 speakers?

As everyone has unique requirements I suggest researching it for yourself. The stands I bought work very well with KH 0300 speakers.Good Luck !

A
Yes, these will fit your UB5 speakers... But just barely!

Q
Can these fit to Elac Debut B5.2 Speakers?
dinnah  Apr 26, 2020

A
Yes those stands would support the ELAC Debut B5.2 speakers.

I no longer use these stands and have given them to a friend. They are excellent stands, hold a lot weight, can be configured in several ways, and are very sturdy. I was using them for some Klipsch Reference bookshelf speakers that are heavier than the ELACs, so I don't think you would have any trouble.
