Bang for buck

Small and compact for easy installation and storage if you do not have a lot of helm space. Easy to install, paired with some JL's 6.5 and they sound great.*** Only downside is you have to have the wired controller installed in order to activate blue tooth. I didn't plan on using it and unfortunately I had to and tucked it behind helm graph.

Finally found an economical Stereo with NMEA 2000

If you have a gps/sonar, this is a must have but requires a NMEA 2000 network. Even without you can use your phone app. The unit was a typical install and hides away under the console. My only complaints are the gasket on the remote is the worst quality I have EVER seen and the fact that Crutchfield and Garmin could not tell me if this product would work with my locators. Garmin support said it should work is it has a non-proprietary NMEA 2000 and supports audio. I have a Lowrance HDS 9 gen 3 and a Lowrance Carbon 7 and all worked. Cross reference other than Garmin would be helpful and encourage non-Garmin users to consider this.

I love it

Now this is great system, 2 unique zones (for me one for Helm and another for cabin with select able sources from each independently). The install was easy and I mounted it behind the electric panel. The remote fit into a 2.125 gauge cutout, I added the remote USB/aux connector under the remote and plug in my iphone through that although it works nicely as Bluetooth also. What is outstanding is that both my chart plotters (B&G and Raymaine) saw it and presented control for it without having to do anything. So the system id controlled from my nav station as well as the helm, which is great for night watch., cabin is quite for sleepers and helms person can pick a chose at will. I love it

Good Choice for Marine

Have just installed this unit on my 17' center console Scout and so far it's great. It was a very easy install since all wiring is labeled and the manual has very clear instructions. I purchased the wireless remote hoping that I wouldn't have to use/install the wired remote. However, found out that you do have to install the wired remote as it is the only one of the two remotes that has a power button. Since I didn't want another hole in the helm I decided to mount it inside the glove box. Worked out great since it is protected and also thieves have no idea I have electronic equipment on board to steal. I use the wireless remote on the dash which I stick on with a small piece of Velcro when I'm using the boat. I have two JL speakers and combined with this unit the music sounds awesome. The only downside is not being able to turn the volume down with your phone's volume buttons if streaming. But you can do it in the app which is also a well designed application. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend Crutchfield.com. The rep, Dutch, was very patient listening to my needs and helpful guiding me to this product.

Fusion BB100 V2

Great unit that saves space in the helm!

Installation was very easy with the labels on each wire! The NMEA2k function was detected by my MFD (Simrad) right away and it paired with my phone the first time. I love how as soon as I get on the boat the music from my phone starts! The only improvement that would make it 5 stars is if I was able to control the volume via my watch/phone like with any standard bluetooth receiver. I usually leave the phone in the boat while at the sandbar and control the volume via my watch but in this case it doesn't do anything other than when it gets to 0 (mutes it). I am pretty sure a software update could solve this!

Just what we needed

Exactly what we were looking for on our 21 foot center console boat. Wanted to keep the dashboard free of clutter and to minimize exposure to salt spray. The 5 button remote has the most important controls you would need of volume, skip and power (wish it had pause). However, when we connected it to our Garmin GPS/Fishfinder using the NMEA 2000 network, all the controls we need are right there on our 9" screen. We have access to all of the Black Boxe's settings, sources, EQ, playback controls, titles, etc. We didn't even have to set anything up on the GPS/Fishfinder. It was simply plug and play with the NMEA 2000 network. The Bluetooth works great with our iPhones and the FM stereo is handy for when we want something different or need access to local emergency announcements.

Fusion fan forever

Since I have limited space on my dash, I chose this black box receiver. It is out of site and weather. I also have the system linked to my Garmin so I get all the options and functions on the display. Could not be more pleased with this system.

Great sound and easy install

This is a great compact stereo if you don't have much dash space. The unit is tucked away nicely under the helm and easily controlled from a phone or the wired control unit. It only took about an hour to install and set up. Still haven't hooked up an amp so I am not sure how that will go or perform

Fantastic

Like center Stage at the best Concert. Only exception is that you are in the Middle of the water floating on your Boat. Without a Doubt, the Fusion BB100 paired up with four of the Fusion FR4021 speakers has made my Boat Rock. Almost zero panel space used with either using the NEMA connection to my Garmin Chart plotter or using my I Phone to control the Music. Fantastic.

Great unit especially if you are networking to a Garmin MPS. All media can be controlled from the Garmin touchscreen which was the goal. I installed this unit on a Sportsman Masters 207 center console and networked it to an already installed Garmin GPSMap 942xs on a NEMA 2000 Network. The black box is small so there were no issues finding room to install it inside an already crowded console. The dash on my helm is fairly clear and clutter-free and I wanted to keep it that way so a small remote was essential and the one on the MS-BB100 is the perfect size. Sound is great even without a power amp, but it has outputs for one so upgrading the power by installing an amp in the future should be no problem. Rarely do I buy electronics where everything networks seamlessly and communicates with other devices without a lot of effort but this was literally plug-and-play! Couldn't be happier with the purchase!

Great sound. Installs almost anywhere in a boat. Solved problem of using valuable space. I connected to Garmin network and have on- screen controls. Also connected to iphone with with bluetooth for the same full control. Love it. The wired remote is used mainly for on and off, but you have to have it.
