Overview: The Philips Hue Enrave Large Ceiling Light is designed to cast light above and below the fixture. With its built-in White Ambiance bulb, Enrave lights up your living room in up to 50,000 shades of warm-to-cool white light. Above the fixture, it casts a subtle light against the ceiling. To control the light or set light schedules, you will need to pair the bulb to the Hue Bridge (sold separately or as part of a starter kit), or pair the fixture directly to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth to control the ceiling light in the room. The Enrave Ceiling Light should be hardwired to your home's AC power, but does not require a junction box.

Light Fixture: The Enrave Large Ceiling Light is a modern-styled fixture made of sturdy black metal and synthetics. The low-profile circular light is 16-11/16" in diameter and 3-7/16" in height, and weighs 7 pounds. It has a 9-7/16" diameter metal mounting and wiring bracket, which can be mounted directly to the ceiling via 3 screws and wall anchors (not included), or attached to an electrical box designed for ceiling fixtures. The bracket has wiring connectors for the Line (L) and Neutral (N) wires and a grounding screw. The Enrave Ceiling Light has a built-in 33.5-watt LED bulb which produces a range of white light from 2200K to 6500K (50,000 shades). Out of the box, it has a light output of 3300 lumens at 2700K, up to a maximum of 4300 lumens at 4000K. When paired with the Hue Bridge or via Bluetooth, the ceiling light can be dimmed or brightened, turned on or off, or the color changed using the Philips Hue app. The bulb has an estimated nominal lifetime of 25,000 hours.

App Control: The light fixture can be controlled by the Philips Hue app (Android 10.0+, iOS/iPadOS 16.0+). If the bulb is connected via Bluetooth, you can control up to 10 Bluetooth-enabled lights from up to 30 feet in a room. You can turn the lights on or off, dim or brighten the bulb, change the shade of light, and apply Light "recipes" for everyday tasks. You can even control them with your voice through the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. For bulbs connected with the Hue Bridge, you get full home control of the lights. Within the full Hue Lighting System, you can set timers and schedules, control lights away from home, set wake up and go to sleep routines, and sync the lights to your music, movies, and video games. In addition to Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, you can control the bulb via voice commands with Apple HomeKit and Microsoft Cortana. Additional Hue products can be added to the system, up to a maximum of 50 bulbs and 12 Hue accessories that can be controlled by a single bridge.
