Real bass and treble knobs!
Paul from Cresco, IA on 3/24/2025
I primarily bought this for the features. I needed an aux input as well as bluetooth and I really wanted bass and treble controls on the speaker as I don't have a smart phone. This makes it SO much easier and quicker to use. I use this in a 32x30 foot workshop which is a pretty big space and it can fill it with sound. The depth of sound is very good and the bass response is excellent.
Pros: Volume as well as Bass and Treble controls on the speaker. Bluetooth AND 3.5mm aux input.

A keeper!
Conrad from Wilton, NY on 2/15/2025
This little guy punches above his weight. Music sounds alive, with that "Marshall" sound" (good bass, and fullness). It's a bit bass heavy for listening to Audible books, but that could be me - my high frequency is shot - too much loud music back in the 60's and flying small aircraft without ear protection. Overall, an excellent BT speaker, with a cool semi-retro look.
Pros: nice quality in the build and sound.
Cons: none yet

Vintage amp style speaker with great sound!
Brad from Jordan, MN on 1/9/2025
The Marshall Action III is an outstanding speaker! It's been a perfect addition to my home office, allowing me to enjoy music, iHeart radio, and podcasts while I work. The Bluetooth connection is always seamless, and the sound quality is crisp, clear, and powerful enough to fill the entire room. Plus, it looks really cool! I highly recommend this speaker.
Pros: Seamless Bluetooth connection, excellent sound quality, plenty of volume, looks fantastic.

Vintage Appeal
Cary from Griffith, IN on 1/7/2025
I have both Acton III & Stanmore III. Both look similar. See my Photo of the speaker in BROWN (retro look). The classic "Cars" debut album was released in June 1978 when I was 17. Marshall Acton III brings back this moment. Clear sound. Decent 60 watts of power. Using Aux & connecting to my CD Player. Every song makes you feel like a "teenager" again. The great Cars song "Just What I Needed" brought back those crazy memories of my senior yr in high school. Again, I also have the Stanmore III which has a "warmer soundstage" due to its better separation of the instruments. Acton III, however, is more "forward" on the highs. Both are Fun Products and both "hold their own" compared to those modest priced bookshelf (passive) speakers out there (very hard to believe, using Class-D amps inside the speaker(s)). Thanks, Advisors, for putting up with all my questions before purchase!
Pros: Sound Quality & Vintage Look
Cons: None

Prepare to be impressed...
Bruce from MURRIETA, CA on 12/30/2024
The jewel. I challenge any sound box this size to sound as rich, full, and satisfying. I had to backorder the tan-so glad I did as I have a lot of wood tones in the room. So..of course the tan with brass controls (looking gold) looks really sharp. I've got this in a corner of a large room and the sound stage is incredibly large-those Marshall folks know what they're doing. Have my iTunes sound profile on R&B with some of the bottom end backed off the Marshall..this little guy puts out some nice mid bass punch. Please treat yourself to an unexpected luxury..I mean..don't you really deserve it? So highly recommended. -Buzz
Pros: All of it..

Quality made / beautiful !
Dale from Honolulu, HI on 10/28/2024
I love the look of this nostalgic amp/speaker. I have the off-white color model. I wish the cord also was off-white however because it is black. It would blend in with the wall better if it was white. It does sound quite good deep base there's virtually no mid range. There is no mid-range dynamic speaker in it so some may be a bit disappointed. I guess this is the classic Marshall sound from 1960s. Looks very nice sitting on a table. I am extremely happy with it. It's very well made does not look cheap at all. I'm sure you will love it.
Pros: Quality made, handsome. The Marshall APP updates the Bluetooth firmware.
Cons: No mid-range speaker, off-white model black cord doesn't match.

Blown away.
Stephen from Sanbornton, NH on 10/22/2024
Amazing little speaker! Most of the music in my house comes through floor standing JBL speakers powered by a Marantz receiver. The dining room can't be wired (long story involving tight crawl spaces and dirt floors), so I decided to try a bluetooth speaker. The first time I heard a full orchestra coming through this little monster (playing Mahler, no less) I was blown away. More intimate music (chamber, solo vocal, pop) is equally impressive. Allow enough time (30 hours or so) for break-in before judging the speaker's full potential.

Marshall speaker delivers!
Richard from San Francisco, CA on 10/14/2024
This is stylish countertop speaker with a great, rich sound - much fuller, and satisfying, than the small JBL, etc speakers. No internal battery, so must always be plugged in to listen. Still, using the bluetooth connection, I can play music from my phone, and the sound fills our great room. A great addition to our musical enjoyment!

OMG! I was casually Browsing and I heard the INCREDIBLY clear powerful loud PERFECT sound coming from this speaker. BUY THIS! It has FAR SURPRPASSED my expectations! Marshall is a known brand for musicians. Now us "ordinary" people can get the same HIGH QUALITY sound for so little. There are 4 main sizes. I ended up upgrading right away to the Acton. My depression has lifted, I dance around the room, even my furry friends IMMEDIATELY became fans! All I can say is if you are like me and depressed because you are down to your last $300, don't worry. Be HAPPY! BUY THIS !!! I've never been so ECSTATIC over a product in a decade. Best speakers on the market by far! They all look awesome, too. Like a true work of art both in aesthetics and sound. ?? ?? ??
Pros: Sound quality. Awesome bass. Perfect blend of treble and base. The Acton let's you play withcthe treble and bass, adjusting it to your likes. Aesthetically, it looks like a work of art. High quality brass. EVERYTHING is top of the line. The sound is amazingly loud, crisp, and clear.
Cons: None. Other than I want to order 2 in over color and give the sound of a
