Do you use MATCH's UP 8DSP amp/processor? If so, this MATCH MEC BTHD-UP8 Extension Card allows you to wirelessly stream music directly into your sound system from your compatible Bluetooth device. Your smartphone or tablet becomes a high-quality music player that streams its digital content directly into your system with no degradation of the signal by another digital-to-analog conversion.

High-fidelity

This extension card uses Qualcomm® aptX™ Bluetooth codec and the A2DP profile, which means you'll get near-CD quality sound for your musical entertainment. In addition, the extension card features an optical digital output, so you can send high-quality signals to another device with no degrading analog conversion necessary.

Mounts inside the amp

To install this MATCH extension card, you'll need to remove the side panel of your amp and replace it with a new side panel that comes with the module. MATCH includes step-by-step instructions and an installation tool to help you mount the extension card inside your MATCH UP 8DSP.

Note: This Bluetooth extension card only works for streaming music and does not support hands-free calling.

Features

Overview: The Match BT HD Extension Card is an optional add-on module for the Match UP 8DSP amplifier/processor (sold separately). The MEC BT card adds Bluetooth audio streaming capability, including HD, as well as an optical digital output in S/PDIF format. The BT HD Extension Card comes with a detachable 4.25" swivel-antenna and a replacement side-panel for the DSP amplifier which provides the extra slots needed.

Compatibility: The Match BT Extension Card is compatible with the Match UP 8DSP DSP amplifier (sold separately).

Bluetooth 5.0+EDR: The BT HD supports High-Definition audio up to 576 kbps and 24 Bit/48 kHz sampling rate. The Extension Card sends HD Bluetooth signals directly to the amplifier's DSP without additional conversion, allowing for lossless processing and higher sound quality.

Profiles & Codecs: The BT HD Extension Card supports A2DP, AVRCP, and SPP profiles along with SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD codecs.

Optical Digital Output: The Match BT HD Extension Card includes a S/PDIF optical digital output that lets you send unprocessed input signals or DSP-processed signals out to additional equipment. The optical digital output can send uncoded stereo PCM audio in either 96 kHz/24 bit or 48 kHz/24 bit, depending on the sampling rate of the designated device.

Wireless DSP Tuning: The Match BT HD lets you wirelessly configure the DSP for your compatible amplifier using the DSP PC-Tool V5 software installed on your Bluetooth-enabled PC (Windows 10 & 11, 32/64 bit).

Control Commands: The BT HD supports control commands - Play/Pause, Track Forward/Back, Connecting/Disconnecting, and Pairing, when your compatible Match amplifier is connected to an optional Helix/Match remote control, such as the Conductor or Director (both sold separately). When used with the Director, the current artist & title, and audio codec will be displayed.
