Nice Speakers
Tim from Eldersburg, MD on 12/24/2017
These speakers are the real deal. I had installed cheap speakers in my dental office a long time ago but when I was ready for an upgrade I asked Crutchfield to design and recommend a new system. I ordered 14 of these and when they arrived was pleasantly surprised. They looked good and they are heavy, which in my mind means solid construction and durability. Installation was not all fun and games, as I found the 4 screws that allow the speaker to clamp to the bridge that supports it on a suspended ceiling grid to be temperamental. The screw is similar to a drywall screw and threads through a plastic sleeve. On several of the speakers 1 screw would invariably not want to thread. It made it very difficult to get all 4 screws to clamp down. One head even got stripped. Their installation instructions are adequate, a cut-out template is provided, and a support number is easily reached. Their support team is easy to reach, but not as friendly as the people at Crutchfield. Once installed, they sound great!
Pros: Great sound, look good, solid construction
Cons: Screws that clamp speaker to bridge strip easily
