John Pollard

A little about me

I originally started working at Crutchfield in 2005 in our customer support call center. Then I worked as a Sales Advisor for five years, and finally as a copywriter for the car audio team. I took a twelve year break to live in Seattle and then London, and have found myself back again in Charlottesville, and back at Crutchfield.

My father worked here at Crutchfield when I was a kid, so I've been into electronics as long as I can remember. He had me installing car stereos at a young age. If it's technology, I'm into it. Car audio, home audio and video, PCs, networking, and home automation. I'm at least proficient in it all.

I've done too many car audio system installs to count, and I've had the pleasure of working with our customers on the phone, so I understand the questions that people will have about the 12-volt gear and tech I write about.

In my spare time, I also enjoy working on cars, playing video games, and lifting weights.
