A Vendor's Guide to Crutchfield

Visitors Policy


Policy: To provide a safe and secure work environment for all employees.

  • All visitors shall enter the facility through the main entrance.
    (Exceptions: HQ Merchandising entrance and after-hours visitors)
  • All visitors will be entered into the visitor system and issued a visitor system badge and VISITOR lanyard.
    This badge must be displayed at all times while the visitor is on the premises. Visitors may be required to present a Photo ID.
  • All visitors will be escorted by an employee to their destination within the facility.
    (Exceptions for Immediate Family members and Business Partners familiar with the facility layout)
  • All visitors are required to sign out of the visitors system upon exiting the building.
    After-hours visitors will be checked in and out by the Supervisor on duty in their facility.
  • The Operations Supervisor (OSUP) will issue a temporary visitors badge with the date of the visit written on the badge.
    This will be issued to the visitor in a plastic sleeve with a red VISITOR lanyard and must be worn at all times while on premises.
  • The Operations Supervisor (OSUP) will note the name of the visitor(s), date of visit, employee they are visiting, check-in time, and check-out time.
    This information will be e-mailed to "@Visitor Log" for tracking purposes.
  • The receptionist for the facility will assure that all after-hours visitor information is entered into the visitor system for the facility.
