About the JL Audio FiX-LSA-4

Make sure you can FiX™ your factory radio sound
Some factory radios and amplifiers will not work without sensing that its speakers (low-impedance loads) are connected to their outputs. So adding a sound processor that uses the factory wiring for its inputs, like a JL Audio FiX 82 or FiX 86, would normally result in no audio at all. JL Audio's FiX-LSA-4 load-sensing adapter plugs in line with your FiX processor's inputs, presenting a load to the factory system, so signal flow gets restored and the music plays on. Dimensions: 3-7/8"W (16-1/2" with connectors) x 1-1/8"H x 1-1/2"W. Warranty: 2 years.

Features
Overview: The JL Audio FiX 82 and FiX 86 OEM Integration DSP products are designed to enhance the sound of factory audio systems. Some OEM amplifiers and head units employ a load-sensing startup protection circuit. When powered up, the OEM system checks the impedance of the connected load, and will mute the audio if the impedance is outside of the predicted range. The impedance of the FiX DSP input is typically higher than most speakers that are used in these systems, causing the OEM head unit or amplifier to mute. To correct this, the FiX-LSA-4 will need to be inserted in-line with the input signal. The FiX-LSA-4 presents a safe and appropriate load to the OEM component to correct the audio muting.
Note: You must recalibrate the FiX OEM Integration DSP after installing this load sensing adapter (LSA). The LSA changes the input signal level, requiring recalibration of the FiX.
Connections: The FiX-LSA-4 has two sets of 4-conductor Euroblock connectors on each end. The male output plugs connect to the FiX's input connectors, while the female input plugs connect to the FiX 82 or FiX 86 processor's input plugs. The two connectors on each end are the same, so you must observe the wire colors to maintain correct channel alignment. An additional FiX-LSA-4 may be needed if the FiX is connected to more than four channels of audio from the OEM head unit or amplifier.

My audio installers went on and on about this product. Said this saved them a lot of time vs. building these things. Very good product.
